Dr Zeynep Gurtin is an Associate Professor of Reproductive Sociology and Women's Health, UCL, and a Board Member at the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority. She regularly writes and speaks about the social, cultural and emotional aspects of reproduction, fertility and family life in the media and to a wide range of audiences.

have thawed their frozen eggs, and on women who have chosen freebirth.
