Pride Love Story: Below Deck's Captain Sandy And Wife Leah

In our most recent episode about Pride month, we referenced our interview with Captain Sandy from Below Deck Mediterranean and her wife Leah. Here it is! We had the pleasure to sit down and talk with the happily married couple about their unconventional love story and Sandy had a drop the mic moment when describing why she thinks gay love is sometimes received negatively. We’re all too focused on the sex part of the relationship rather than the love. It’s a fascinating conversation and a beautiful love story you won’t want to miss. Happy “Nuclear Family Month!” How Some States Are Hijacking Pride

We’re recording this episode as we get ready to celebrate the annual Pride March here in New York City, a huge parade steeped in history, going back to the 1969 police raid on the Stonewall on this very date, June 28th. But did you know that Pride Month isn’t recognized nationally this year, nor any year where a Republican is president, going back to 1999 when Pride month was first established by President Clinton. In fact, several states have even chosen counter programming for the month, labeling June as Nuclear Family Month, Strong Families Month, or even Fidelity Month. Love Island Love Lessons: Why Won’t You Believe In Love #brinity #toogoodtobetrue

So many people are skeptical of the love story that brought us to tears last night: watching Bryce and Trinity reuniting after pining away for one another in Casa Amor. Come on, how could they each fake those tearful confessionals apart? How could they know what the other was feeling or thinking, and when would they have had a private space to come up with a plan? Nah, we believe in their slow burn friendship turned romance and we are rooting for them to the very end. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

'Love Island' Love Lessons: Why K.C. Chose Poorly #Titi

We were all hoping it wouldn’t come to this, K.C. leaving Aniya, in tears for another woman. And not just any woman, Titi is in the villa now, and she seems ready to leave her mark. Amy asks T.J. on behalf of all the confused women watching Love Island, why in the hell would K.C. dump beautiful, sweet, smart Aniya for a sassy woman he just met three days ago? 'Love Island' Love Lessons:  Why Nice Guys Finished Last #Carl

During last night’s recoupling, we saw the girls each praise the Casa Amor man they coupled up with, some even saying they were the “perfect man.” Then we heard Melanie, Kayda and Aniya all criticize the boy they had been coupled up with, talking about the hurt and distrust they felt for them. But when decision time came, they all dumped the nice guys, the men who they said all made them feel seen and validated. Amy and T.J. talk about why it seems, nice guys always finish last. Stay tuned for our next episode, where T.J. explains why K.C. dumped sweet Aniya for Titi. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Love Island (EP 21): Best Episode Ever (Amy) I Might Be Done (T.J.)

Last night’s episode was arguably the most explosive, entertaining one yet! There was laughter, tears and drama from the islanders as Casa Amor and the Villa reunited and the recoupling ceremony ended with a bang. We go over our favorite moment… duh, Bryce and Trinity for the win, and what we think about KC’s decision to dump Aniya and bring TiTi to the villa. Love Island (EP 20): Alannah Has Left Casa Amor; Casa Amor Left Kayda In Tears

20 minutes into last night’s Love Island episode, the narrator made a brief announcement saying only that Alanna had left Casa Amor. And that was it, no explanation. Fans of the show have been demanding her removal following video that surfaced of 21-year-old Alannah Keyser singing the “n-word” to camera, along with several concerning posts where she also uses the racial slur. Meantime, the other big headline from episode 20: We all just fell a little more in love with Bryce and Trinity. Can they just go ahead and claim their prize? They have emerged as the couple to beat, especially after a photo card was delivered to each villa showing the boys and the girls behaving questionably with the bombshells. The episode ended with Kayda inconsolably crying, along with Melanie, and the boys rightfully worried about what will happen for the recoupling tonight. Love Island (EP 19): Go Ahead And Call It “Orgy Island”

Just when it didn’t seem possible that Love Island producers could sexualize the Islanders any more, they introduced another challenge that quickly divulged into a barely clothed orgy on national television. One contestant even apologized to her parents afterwards…. We’re really hoping for their sakes, they fast forwarded through the segment. Looking beyond the growing ick factor of the show, there were some incredibly interesting developments in several relationships, with a couple of the boys continuing to pine away for their girls back home. And then there’s Corbin and Kenzie, who seem very satisfied in their new couples, with poor Caleb, who once again finds himself in a love triangle with Corbin. Who will recouple with someone new, and who will stay in their original couple? We make our predictions. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Love Island (EP 18): Alannah Survives For Now,  6 Bombshells Dumped

So far, not a word from Peacock about the fate of bombshell Alannah Keyser, who many fans are demanding be dumped from the show after video surfaced of her singing the N-word on social media. While she seems pleasantly coupled up with Zach, the ladies have narrowed down their Casa Amor newbies from 12 to 6, but it remains unclear if any love connections are actually forming at the Villa. Meantime, the men are split, with half of them fully exploring and seemingly enjoying their new women. However, Bryce was moved to tears and Sincere mused about missing their ladies back home. Melanie and Aniya also admitted to missing their men, but that is setting up a hell of a mess with KC, who seems to be extremely content with his new lady Tierra. What Should He Do?  Play In World Cup Or Attend Birth Of His First Child

A French journalist has been suspended for criticizing Belgian soccer star Jeremy Duko who announced he may miss a World Cup game in order to be with his wife when she gives birth to his first child. France Pierron apologized after calling childbirth a “disgusting moment where the dad is useless.” She went on to question Duko’s choice, saying his baby “will always be there.” Doku isn’t the only player having to make tough personal choices while at the World Cup: two other players had babies born during the tournament. Hear what they decided to do when they had to decide whether to play or return home. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Love Island (EP 17):  Casa Amor Puts Every Single Boy In The Dog House

Just when the Islanders least expect it, ‘Love Island’ producers threw in the Casa Amor twist into the villa. And while it’s always fun to see how the couples handle the temptations of a new full set of potential islanders, this was the most sexual, grotesque introduction of contestants we have ever witnessed in the franchise. Add the disgusting reaction by most of the men to the accompanying reaction from the women who were watching it all unfold live from the villa, and you have a completely changed competition with all of the couples seemingly upended. The girls went from shocked, to sad, to outraged, to ready to meet the 12 men who are headed their way to play. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Here We Go Again! Resurfaced Video Reportedly Shows Love Island Bombshell Using N-Word

Within hours of the men heading over to Casa Amor, a video emerged online, allegedly of one of the new bombshells using the N-word in a years old Snapchat post. In the unverified video, it appears 21- year-old Alannah Keyser sings the N-word while dancing inside a car during a night out in Miami. Even before the video was released, fans of the show were commenting that Keyser made out with all of the white islanders, but refused to kiss the three black men, even telling K.C. at one point, “That’s all you get. Hand off, boy.” There are also screen shots popping up online reportedly of a Keyser TikTok comment from nearly 2 years ago where she uses a racial slur for the word “Nigerian” See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
