When Your Relationship With God Feels Off
You still love God, so why does He suddenly feel harder to hear? Harder to connect with? Life gets busy. You’re constantly thinking or worrying about the future, what’s next, your finances, relationships, plans, things you’re excited about, things you’re scared about… and somewhere in the middle of all of it, things with God just start to feel different. That’s what happened to me. I love God. I wanted to be close to Him. But, I found myself asking, “God, why do I feel so distracted? Why does it feel harder to hear You?” And of course, He checked me (with love). He brought me back to the Parable of the Sower and showed me something in the thorny soil that I had read so many times but never really understood. So today, we’re talking about the things that quietly take up space in our hearts: worry, money, our plans, our desires, and even really good things and how, without realizing it, life can get so loud that there’s barely any room left for God. If you’ve been feeling this too, you’re not alone friend. PS: Welcome to Season 4! I’ve missed you so so much!!
