100 Horror Movies in 92 Days - A Look Back at the Highlights

Season 06 of Eldritch Girl is a Horror Film focused season! I've been doing the #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days challenge for 4 years now, but this time I want to share my challenge progress on the podcast. Here's my look back at the last 4 years, with a few Top 10 lists (plus runners up). I'm looking forward to starting this season but the episodes may be a challenge in themselves to get up! We'll see how often I can post, as all the films will be new to me, and I can't get a head start to record them! For now, enjoy my look back at the 467 films I've watched over the last 4 years specifically for the challenge count. Read this in its original post format on cmrosens.com. Get these episodes without ads, and free eBooks to download by joining my Ko-Fi membership - cancel any time. Worldbuilding Chat with Rob Mitchelmore (aka Guillaume Velde)

An hour special chatting with Rob Mitchelmore about worldbuilding on hard mode, so if you're up for some full nerding out on constructing fictional ancient cultures, playing with mythology, and some of the pitfalls to be mindful of in the process, join us for this special worldbuilding chat! We read a small segment of The Marriage of the Fire Under Water and Gale, for two voices, as a jumping off point to talking about Rob's fictional city state near Carthage (the story itself is set just before the Second Punic War, and then in the modern day with the archaeologists re-discovering the culture). Some of this takes place in the fictional University of Basingstoke, which is the university that Katy Porter from the Pagham-on-Sea series wants to apply to. Rob then flips the format and interviews CMR about Pagham-on-Sea and using mythology to put twists on the Gothic Horror and Cosmic Horror elements in those stories. The transcript here is the vtt version - the transcript on cmrosens.com is fully edited and formatted, and has all the research links, further reading, and more. Head there for that!
