Screenwriter Tom Jolliffe is back to discuss his newest film, "We Go Again," along with the film's two stars Zuza Tehanu and Charlotte Chiew. The first 30 minutes or so is a spoiler-free conversation about the film, so even if you haven't watched the movie yet, you can listen safely. DTVC Podcast 255, "Scorned" and "Victim of Desire"
We're joined once again by Jon Cross from the PM Entertainment Podcast and the After Movie Diner, this time to discuss a Shannon Tweed erotic thriller double feature, with "Scorned" and "Victim of Desire." Before that though, for the first hour or so, Jon and I look at where Jim Belushi's career should go after his role in "The Chronology of Water," and then my mention of Sean Connery in the early James Bond films takes us off on a large tangent about accents in the UK and the starts of Michael Caine's and Terrence Stamp's careers. Thomas Howell erotic thriller double feature, with "Dangerous Indiscretion" and "Payback." Before that though, Jon tells us about his recent foray into the DTV world with the movies "Mafia" and "Pistol Whipped." "DTVC Extra" are shorter solo episodes that I'll be posting on some weeks in addition to the main podcast. In this episode I'm looking at "Ballerina" after finally watching it on Starz. I get into how I missed it when it was in the theater, and then how much I wished I hadn't as I was watching the film on the small screen. I then try to break down why a movie that was so good didn't do as well at the box office.
