Doxology GO is a daily family devotional podcast that helps kids and families connect with God, the Bible, and each other—wherever you GO!

Doxology GO is built around two simple ideas:

#1 – Following and worshiping (“doxology”) God can happen wherever we GO!
On the way to school, practice, church, around the dinner table, or even as we're getting ready for bed, every part of our day can be an opportunity to know, follow, and worship God.

#2 – Following and worshiping God starts in the home and with the family.
Deuteronomy 6:4–7 reminds parents to impress God's Word on their children and talk about it “when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”

That's what Doxology GO is all about!

Each short episode is designed to help your family connect with God and with each other through a fun, meaningful, and Gospel-centered look at God's Word, the Bible. Listen on the way to school, around the breakfast or dinner table, or before bed!

In Season 1 (2026–2027), we're taking a chronological journey through the entire Bible—from Genesis to Revelation—to hear 200 amazing Bible stories (corresponding to the 200 or so days of a school year). We'll hear their stories, learn from their lives, and most importantly, discover how each story is part of God's one big rescue story that points us to Jesus!

Every Person Matters to God (Numbers 1- 2)
Today's episode is a Math Teacher's dream! We enter into the book of Numbers with God instructing Moses to count the Israelite men and organize all of the families of the 12 tribes around the Tabernacle. This story in Numbers 1 and 2 shows us that every person matters to God!

The Day of Atonement (Leviticus 16)
In Leviticus 16, God tells Moses and Aaron to set aside a very special day called the Day of Atonement, a day when God would graciously forgive the sins of His people. On this special day, the high priest would enter the Most Holy Place in the Tabernacle, a place he could only enter once a year! God also instructed the high priest to take two goats. The first goat would be sacrificed, and its blood would be offered to make atonement for the sins of the people. But the second goat had a very different job! The high priest would place his hands on the head of this living goat and confess the sins of all the Israelites. This was a picture of the people's sins being placed on the goat. Then the goat would be led far away from the camp and released into the wilderness, symbolizing how God had taken away the sins of His people! This second goat was called the scapegoat! Now, here's the AMAZING part of this story! Both goats point us to JESUS! Just like the first goat, Jesus shed His blood on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. And just like the scapegoat was taken outside the camp, Jesus was crucified outside the city gates of Jerusalem, carrying away the sins of His people! But here's the BIG difference! The Israelites had to offer these sacrifices every single year. Jesus only had to die ONCE! (Hebrews 10:14) His sacrifice was perfect, complete, and enough to forgive our sins forever! What an AMAZING Savior we have in JESUS!

The Israelites Get a Pastor (Leviticus 8-9)
In Leviticus 8, God tells Moses to appoint priests to help lead the Israelites in worship, including the five offerings we learned about in Leviticus chapters 1–7. And guess who God chooses for this important job? Moses’ brother Aaron and Aaron’s sons! Now, this is an incredible picture of God’s grace! Remember Aaron? Back in Exodus, he was the one who helped lead the Israelites into sin by making a golden cow for the people to worship instead of God! Aaron had made a terrible mistake. But God was not finished with him! God showed Aaron grace, and now He was giving Aaron and his sons the incredible responsibility of leading the Israelites in worship! Think about that! The same man who helped lead God's people away from Him would now help lead them in worshiping Him! What an amazing picture of God's forgiveness, grace, and second chances!

Five Offerings and One Gracious God (Leviticus 1-7)
The book of Leviticus begins with detailed descriptions in Chapters 1 through 7 of how the Israelites are to approach God in the Tabernacle with five unique offerings. In God's grace, he accepts these offerings and uses them to remind the people of his forgiveness, love and provision. It is a beautiful image of grace and a foreshadowing of the ultimate offering, Jesus Christ!

God Moves In (Exodus 40)
In Exodus, chapters 35-40, God gives Moses and the Israelites detailed instructions on what the tabernacle will look like, the place where God's presence will dwell among the people! Then in Exodus 40, God moves in! This completes the incredible story of the Book of Exodus from slaves in Egypt in chapter 1, to being free and walking with God in the desert towards the promised land in Exodus 40!

Our God is an Awesome God (Exodus 33 and 34)
In Exodus 33, Moses asks to see the glory of God. This is a huge request that Moses didn't even fully understand. But God, in his grace, hides Moses in the crack of a boulder, covers him with his mighty hand, and reveals part of his glory to Moses! Why only part? Because God's glory is so powerful, so majestic, so awesome, that no human can see the entire glory of God and live! Until Jesus comes along, and as John 1:14 tells us, "the word becomes flesh." God's glory comes into our world in the person of Jesus, and as a result, all who believe in Him share not only in his sufferings, but also his glory! We know and serve an Awesome God!!

Don't Worship a Cow! (Exodus 32)
Can you imagine being willing to worship a cow? I mean, have you ever been around a cow? They smell, they chew their food loudly, and they aren't exactly friendly! But in Exodus Chapter 32, The Israelites in the desert begged Moses' brother Aaron to build them a golden calf to worship while Moses was missing on Mount Sinai. When Moses came down the mountain and saw what the people were doing, he was furious! But then we see an act of grace, and Moses goes before God and asks for their forgiveness!

The 10 Commandments (Exodus 20)
In Exodus Chapter 20 (and also Deuteronomy 5), we read about Moses and the Israelites receiving the 10 commandments from God at Mount Sinai. It is a huge moment in the life of God's people! They are given formal laws and rules to follow as they obey and walk with God. The 10 commandments must have been convicting for the Israelites (and us today!) to hear. I mean, who hasn't lied?! But these commandments point us toward the one who would obey perfectly, Jesus Christ!

Manna for Breakfast (Exodus 16)
In Exodus 16, the Israelite people begin to complain (it won't be the first or the last time!). They are hungry and there isn't much to eat. God in his grace, hears their cries and provides something incredible. Each morning, the Moses and the Israelites wake up to a fresh layer of "manna" (kind of like bread) on the ground! For the next 40 years, they no longer have to worry about making breakfast, they simply go outside and scoop up some delicious manna! I wonder if it had protein? Hahahaha... But there was one catch. The Israelites weren't allowed to keep or store the manna beyond the day. Some people tried and the manna tasted terrible the next day. God was showing the people that they needed to trust God for today and not worry about tomorrow!

The Parting of the Red Sea (Exodus 13 and 14)
In Exodus 13 and 14, God's people, the Israelites are finally given freedom to leave Egypt, and God leads them through the desert with a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night until they reach the Red Sea. But then Pharaoh changes his mind and takes his army and begins chasing the Israelites. The Israelites are stuck; they can't get through the Red Sea, and Pharaoh's army is trapping them from behind. That is when God performs one of the most amazing miracles in the Bible: the parting of the Red Sea! God rescues his people, not through their power but through his!

The Passover and the Lamb that Saved (Exodus 11 and 12)
In Exodus, chapters 11 and 12, God told Moses that one final plague was coming upon Egypt. During the night, the firstborn son in every Egyptian household would die. This was a terrible and heartbreaking judgment. But God also gave the Israelites special instructions so that their families could be protected. Each family was to choose a lamb, a healthy, spotless lamb without anything wrong with it. They were to sacrifice the lamb and take some of its blood and put it on the sides and top of the doorframe of their house. Now, that might sound pretty strange to us! Why would God tell them to put lamb's blood on their doors? Listen to what God said in Exodus 12:13: "The blood shall be a sign for you, on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt." God said that when He saw the blood on the doorframe, He would PASS OVER that house.The people inside would be spared from the judgment. And that's where we get the name PASSOVER!

Pharaoh and the Plagues (Exodus 7-10)
Today on Doxology GO, we’re going to meet someone who kept saying NO to God. And as a result, he got to meet a lot of frogs, gnats, flies and grasshoppers among other things! Who kept saying no to God?? His name was Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. Yesterday, we learned that God spoke to Moses from a burning bush and gave Moses a HUGE job. God told Moses to go back to Egypt and tell Pharaoh: “Let my people go!” The Israelites had been slaves in Egypt for many, many years. God had heard their cries, and now He was going to rescue them. But there was a problem. Pharaoh kept saying, NO.

Moses and His Excuses (Exodus 4)
In Exodus 4:10, Moses says: “O Lord, I’m not very good with words…I get tongue-tied, and my words get tangled.” Moses basically says: “God, I can’t do this! I’m not a good enough speaker!” But listen to God's answer in verse 12: “Now go! I will be with you as you speak, and I will instruct you in what to say.” God didn't tell Moses: “Oh Moses, you're actually an AMAZING speaker! Believe in yourself!” No! God told Moses something much better: “I(Yahweh) will be with you.” Moses didn't need to be the strongest person. He didn't even need to be the best speaker. Moses simply needed to be dependent on God.

Moses and the Burning Bush (Exodus 3)
In Exodus 3, Moses sees a Burning Bush in the middle of the desert, near Mount Sinai….And even though the bush is on fire, it never burns us! Moses is amazed and gets closer and then something even MORE amazing happens in Verse 4,5,6 of Exodus 3: 4 When the Lord saw Moses coming to take a closer look, God called to him from the middle of the bush, “Moses! Moses!” “Here I am!” Moses replied. 5 “Do not come any closer,” the Lord warned. “Take off your sandals, for you are standing on holy ground. 6 I am the God of your father —the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” When Moses heard this, he covered his face because he was afraid to look at God. Wow! As Moses got closer to the Burning Bush, something from inside the bush calls his name, “Moses, Moses!” And Moses then realizes, the voice from the Bush calling his name is God Himself!!! He tells Moses to take off his sandals because he is standing on Holy Ground, because God’s presence is there with him in the desert! This is an incredible scene!! And God then tells Moses something that would change Moses life… He tells Moses in Exodus 3:10 10 Now go, for I am sending you to Pharaoh. Baby in a Basket (Exodus 1 and 2)
In Exodus Chapter 2, verses 1, 2, and 3 tell us about an Israelite family who had a baby boy. Now a man of the tribe of Levi married a Levite woman, 2 and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. When she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him for three months. 3 But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket[a] for him and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile So for three months, she hid him. But eventually, he became too big and probably too LOUD to hide anymore! So his mother came up with a plan. She got a basket, covered it so water couldn't get inside, placed her baby inside, and carefully put the basket among the tall plants along the Nile River. Can you imagine? A tiny baby...floating in a basket...on the giant Nile River! Verse 4 of Chapter 2 tells us, “His big sister, Miriam, watched from a distance to see what would happen.” And then someone found the floating basket with the baby boy…But it wasn't just anyone who discovered the basket… It was THE King’s daughter…Pharaoh's daughter! She opened the basket and saw the crying baby. And instead of hurting him, she felt sorry for him. She decided to adopt him and raise him as her own son. And in Verse 10 of Exodus 2, she gives him a name: Moses.

What You Meant for Harm, God Meant for Good (Genesis 50)
In Genesis 50:20, Joseph tells his brothers, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good...” Wow! Joseph wasn't saying that what his brothers did was good. It wasn't good. It was wrong. But Joseph had learned something about God. God is so powerful and so good that He can take even the bad things people do and use them to accomplish His good purposes!

Joseph Forgives His Brothers (Genesis 45)
In Genesis, chapter 45, verses 1 and 2 we read, "Joseph could stand it no longer. There were many people in the room, and he said to his attendants, “Out, all of you!” So he was alone with his brothers when he told them who he was. 2 Then he broke down and wept. He wept so loudly the Egyptians could hear him, and word of it quickly carried to Pharaoh’s palace." Then in Verse 3 of Genesis 45, Joseph said: “I am Joseph!” Can you imagine his brothers' faces? Wait...JOSEPH?! The brother they threw into a pit? The brother they sold? The brother they thought they would never see again? THAT JOSEPH?! The Bible says his brothers were terrified. And you can understand why! They probably thought: “Uh-oh.” Joseph was now one of the most powerful men in Egypt. He could have thrown them in prison. He could have punished them. He could have gotten revenge for everything they had done to him. But Joseph didn't do that. Instead, Joseph told his brothers to come closer. And then he said something amazing. Joseph told them that even though they had done something terrible to him, God had been working through it to save lives. Joseph wasn't pretending that what his brothers did was okay. It wasn't okay. They had sinned against God and against Joseph. But Joseph could now see that their sin was not more powerful than God's plan. And instead of revenge...Joseph chose forgiveness

Joseph's Brothers Don't Recognize Him (Genesis 42-44)
Genesis 42 tells us the famine wasn't only in Egypt. It reached all the way back to the land where Joseph's family lived. And Joseph's dad, Jacob, heard something: There was food in Egypt! So Jacob sent ten of his 11 sons to Egypt to buy food. Wait a second...Jacob's sons? That means... JOSEPH'S BROTHERS WERE COMING TO EGYPT! These were the same brothers who had been jealous of Joseph. The same brothers who threw him into a pit. The same brothers who sold him as a slave. And now, more than 20 years later, they arrived in Egypt looking for food. Genesis 42:6 tells us something amazing. Joseph's brothers came before him...and bowed down to him with their faces to the ground. Does that sound familiar? Way back in Genesis 37, when Joseph was still a teenager, God had given Joseph dreams that one day his brothers would bow down before him. His brothers thought those dreams were ridiculous! But now... There they were. Bowing down before Joseph. God had not forgotten His plan. And here's the really interesting part: Joseph recognized his brothers...but they didn't recognize Joseph!

Joseph and the Fat Cows (Genesis 41)
In Genesis 41, Pharaoh knew these dreams were important, but he had no idea what they meant. And neither did anyone else! And THAT'S when the cupbearer suddenly remembered something. Or more importantly...someone. JOSEPH! The cupbearer told Pharaoh about the young man he had met in prison who had correctly explained his dream. So Pharaoh sent for Joseph. Can you imagine this moment? Pharaoh wanted to talk to HIM! Pharaoh told Joseph that he had heard Joseph could understand dreams. But listen to Joseph's answer in Genesis 41:16: “I cannot do it...but God will give Pharaoh the answer he desires.” I LOVE that! Joseph didn't say: “Yep! I'm pretty amazing at dreams!” He didn't take the credit. Joseph said: “I cannot do it...but GOD can.” He knew these dreams were important, but he had no idea what they meant. Joseph and the Dreamers (Genesis 40)
In Genesis 40, Joseph wanted the cupbearer to tell Pharaoh that Joseph had been put in prison even though he hadn't done anything wrong. You would think the cupbearer would run straight to Pharaoh and say,“Hey! There's this guy named Joseph in prison. He helped me! You've got to hear his story!” But Genesis 40 ends with some really sad words. It says in Genesis, Chapter 40, verse 23: “The chief cupbearer, however, did not remember Joseph; he forgot him.” He forgot Joseph! After everything Joseph had been through... His brothers had thrown him into a pit. He had been sold as a slave. He had been falsely accused. He had been thrown into prison. And now, the person Joseph thought might help him... forgot all about him. The cupbearer forgot Joseph, but GOD DIDN'T. Joseph may have wondered what God was doing. He may have wondered how long he would have to stay in that prison. But God was still with Joseph. And God was still working out His plan—even when Joseph couldn't see it yet. Sometimes you might feel forgotten too. Maybe your friends didn't invite you to something. Maybe your teacher didn't notice something good you did. Maybe someone promised to do something with you and then forgot. Or maybe you're going through something hard and you're wondering, “God, do You even see or remember me?” The story of Joseph reminds us: God does not forget you. And the greatest proof of that is Jesus. God loved us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to rescue us from our sin!
