378 Sailing the Greek Isles aboard the Disney Dream
Steve and his family have just returned from a 7 day cruise around the Greek Isles aboard the Disney Dream. Before the cruise, they also spent time in Paris, Disneyland Paris, and Rome, so they touch on some of the things they experienced there first. Then it’s off to the Greek Isles aboard the Dream, featuring stops in Naples, Mykonos, Santorini, and Chania (Crete). Steve and Wake sat down several times to discuss the ship, their stateroom, fun they had onboard, and of course all the things they were able to do while in port. 377 Christy’s family cruise to Alaska aboard the Disney Wonder
Christy and her family just returned from a 7 day cruise to Alaska aboard the beautiful Disney Wonder. This was a round trip sailing out of Vancouver, featuring stops in Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan, with a glacier day up Tracy Arm. During their sailing, they sat down several times to discuss their experiences as they sailed through some of the most scenic areas of North America. So grab that winter fleece, don’t forget your camera for those fun character shots around the deck, and pack your nerves (we’re taking a helicopter ride as well), we’re headed off to Alaska aboard the beautiful Disney Wonder. 374 Sailing to Bermuda aboard the Disney Fantasy
Tim and Amber join us this week to discuss their family’s experiences sailing to Bermuda for the first time, aboard the Disney Fantasy. Most DCL Bermuda cruises leave from New York, but this was a rare (and hopefully it will become standard) sailing to Bermuda out of Port Canaveral. This cruise featured an overnight stop in Bermuda, allowing them to explore this island for 2 full days. We discuss their thoughts on what Bermuda had to offer, what they experienced, and if they would book a return sailing to this amazing port of call (spoiler alert…pretty sure the answer is a definite yes:)). 362 Spring Break at Aulani
Steve and his family headed to the island of Oahu this past Spring Break, where they spent a week on the island and 5 nights at Aulani. Before checking into Aulani, they visited the U.S.S. Missouri, took surf lessons on the North Shore, visited Laniakea Beach to see the turtles, explored the old town of Hale’iwa, and even dropped in at Dole Plantation for some Dole Whip. They then checked into Aulani for the last 5 days in the Islands. We discuss the check in process, the Aulani App (which actually works now), dining options, favorite lounges, running and walking paths of Ko’Olina, thoughts on their 1 bedroom villa, and of course all the fun you can have in the pools and around the Aulani Resort.
