Local LLMs Including Qwen, Gemma 4, Mistral, and DeepSeek v4 Can Now Share Stateful Context

Tonight we connected a MacBook Air and a Linux laptop through Intersignal’s Braid Archangel. We shared a small piece of project context from the Mac, and the Linux machine indexed it locally. Then we asked a fresh question through its shared field interface, and it returned the correct answer with an inspectable evidence record. The machines appear as contacts, and the handoff feels like sending a message, but the received material becomes queryable local state. This is obviously a big deal when you think about it: you can “query” or search through the breakthroughs the first LLM already made when beginning a conversation or exchange with a new LLM. Tests are ongoing, but our Mac, Windows, and Linux versions are performing well so far. https://intersignal.org | https://x.com/intersignal_ai Get full access to David Seaman's Deep at davidseaman.substack.com/subscribe

Claude Fable 5.1, Mythos 5, or GPT Astra? Plus Intersignal Braid Releases v1.7

Get in there: https://buy.stripe.com/14A3cvb2ncYj2vyaZ88so00 GPT Astra and its “recurrent depth” breakthrough are expected later in the week for some users; Anthropic, meanwhile, has already rolled out its newest flagship models, Mythos 5 and Fable 5.1. Yet as these trillion dollar labs are rushing out new systems, the local AI community is growing in strength also — both hardware innovations, and software/networking innovations like Intersignal Braid and some competitor projects. https://intersignal.org | https://x.com/intersignal_ai Get full access to David Seaman's Deep at davidseaman.substack.com/subscribe

Local LLMs Can Now Share Context Across Machines: Braid Founding Membership Is Live

Last night, Intersignal completed the Kestrel proof, as we call it: a remote local LLM answered an invented operating problem incorrectly before Braid, then correctly after receiving and committing the missing situational state from another machine. Braid Founding Membership is now open at $99/year. Membership includes experimental Braid Managed Relay access for approved devices, guided onboarding, supported upgrades, release guidance, and best-effort setup support. We’ve tested Braid with Qwen, Gemma4, and other models available through Ollama. Core Braid LAN software remains free. Join the founding cohort: https://buy.stripe.com/14A3cvb2ncYj2vyaZ88so00 Braid is experimental developer software. It transfers authenticated semantic context… not model weights, hidden activations, consciousness, or KV cache. Get full access to David Seaman's Deep at davidseaman.substack.com/subscribe

DeepBlend & Braid Trust: Zero-Latency Communication for Local AI LLMs

If you already run local AI models using Ollama (https://ollama.com/download), consider test driving Intersignal Braid. Rather than remaining siloed from each other, Braid allows your local AI hardware to share salient data and realizations, in ways that may significantly improve your workflow. https://intersignal.org | https://x.com/intersignal_ai and https://x.com/davidworld to follow the team | https://appdevelopermagazine.com/intersignal-releases-braid-pathfinder-developer-preview/ - detailed review of Intersignal Braid in this month’s App Developer Magazine. Decoding the MAGAs

All Epsteinites still free, but hey, a hemp joint can now land you 10 years in prison in Texas. Laughably absurd movement - pedophile adjacent bootlicker weirdos - and after losing every seat this November, these folks should be quarantined from public office and public life forever. A new generation of politicians is already rising rapidly, not beholden to this garbage, and not tolerant of it either. Get full access to David Seaman's Deep at davidseaman.substack.com/subscribe

The Cloud Isn’t Dead. The Edge Just Got Serious.

Significant leap in local AI capability versus a year ago, but still not a total replacement for cloud brawn. Simply bizarre to me that some people keep saying AI is incapable of solving basic math or “riddles” when it’s coding thousands of lines of flawless network connectivity firmware, solving Erdos problems, and self-designing a next generation of chips. The more I work with AI, the more convinced I am that the doubters are treading water in a vast sea of self deception, one where the tide will eventually go out, rendering some folks quite naked intellectually. https://fulcrumnews.com/contact to contact us with show ideas, guest requests, etc https://www.amazon.com/author/davidseaman | https://intersignal.org Get full access to David Seaman's Deep at davidseaman.substack.com/subscribe

Intersignal Braid, PXPipe, And The Open AI Era

The era of trapped, siloed AI is over. In this episode, we unpack the highly anticipated open source release of Intersignal Braid v1.4.4. After a year and a half of building, we have solved offline machine state transport for edge AI. Discover how our 384-dimensional architecture lets local nodes share complex intelligence via fluid optical QR layers: zero cloud, zero Wi-Fi, and zero passwords needed. Plus, we take a fair look at how Braid stacks up against emerging alternatives like PXPipe, and why true machine intelligence shouldn’t be locked behind a single vendor. https://www.aol.com/articles/intersignal-prepares-open-source-release-131100000.html https://intersignal.org | https://x.com/intersignal_ai Get full access to David Seaman's Deep at davidseaman.substack.com/subscribe

The Identity Package Is Making You Smaller

There is a cultural pincer forming, and I think it is doing a disservice to some, if not many. I understand why people adopt it. We are living through developments that are genuinely difficult to process. Wars erupt and refuse to resolve according to the old schedules. Artificial intelligence becomes more sophisticated in months than many people expected it to become in years. Cultural and technological changes arrive faster than our institutions, or our nervous systems, can comfortably metabolize. Yet that shouldn’t be reason for rejection of all things new and exciting. The New Right Hates Everyone Aside From The Epstein Class

These distractions are really beneath all of us. We’re in a war we didn’t want, inflation is nuts, and the Epstein Files still have not been fully released - more than 230 days overdue as per the EFTA that was signed into law. So what do the rightwing influencers focus y’all on? Casting decisions in a silly movie, and random college kid meltdowns that have nothing to do with anything. Iran War Rages As MAGA Mouth Breathes Over "The Odyssey" Casting Decision

As the Iran war continues to grow in cost and American casualties, many conservatives are instead outraged that a BLACK WOMAN was cast and appeared for 3 minutes in a Hollywood adaptation of an Ancient Greek myth. Incidentally, every large MAGA account linked to the administration pushed hatred of Chris Nolan and “The Odyssey” in the days before its release. They mass manufactured a cultural dog whistle so people wouldn’t focus on Iran. It’s actually rather pathetic. Get full access to David Seaman's Deep at davidseaman.substack.com/subscribe

The Perks of NOT Being A Wallflower

The only approach that makes sense now is to speak more clearly and more often. If people around me still misunderstand who I am or what matters to me, then I haven’t explained it well enough. But there’s another side to that: if you know me personally, you don’t get to treat me like a caricature, or like I’m somehow peripheral to my own life. I’m withdrawing access from some people around me, and that’s not bitterness. Self protection and health decision. I don’t need to be ignored, minimized, or socially decentered by people who should know better. At the end of the day, I’m at peace with the path I’ve taken: in business, in journalism, and in the larger picture of my life. If some people still can’t see me clearly, that says more about the lens they’re using than about me. Get full access to David Seaman's Deep at davidseaman.substack.com/subscribe
