Aurora and Cam of Wine Lips
I’m happy this week to have fellow Canadians Aurora and Cam of Wine Lips on my show! We’ve all heard the term buzz band before and I think thats exactly what I would use to describe Wine Lips even though they’ve been around for over 10 years. This garage punk band just keeps getting more and more popular. Lots going on with Wine Lips….. Their tour schedule is heavy, they have a new album out and they’ve even managed to catch the attention of Iggy Pop who praised the band. What more do you need? If you like cool garage punk or want to possibly discover you’re new favourite band this episode is for you! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Joel O’Keeffe
This is the season finale of Season 12 and we end it with a really fun one! I have Joel O’Keeffe who is the front man, lead singer and guitar player for Australian Hard Rock Band Airbourne! This is one of the most high energy interviews I’ve done on this show, things are moving fast and stories are coming quick and are very entertaining…. Picture this interview like a live show, there’s a lot of highs and a few segways but the whole time you’re smiling! Don’t miss this one its really good, I had a great time talking to Joel and lets be honest, the Australian's have the greatest accents ever so that doesn’t hurt either…. Bad Nerves have been around since 2017 so they aren’t exactly new new but they are new in my books. Bad Nerves to me are one of those bands I would call “the next big thing”. They are primed to do that and working on their 3rd album right now. Bobby and I dig into everything Bad Nerves including growing up in Essex, UK, drinking and partying on the road or now lack there of and also opening for some bigger bands like The Hives, Royal Blood and Green Day…… This is a great episode with a really cool dude, tune in!
