Every other Thursday, host Jared Levy takes one film or series and walks through it with the cinematographer who shot it: prep and testing, the camera and lens decisions and why, how the hard scenes were lit, what changed on the day, what the grade did. One project, start to finish, from the person who lit it.

For a century people learned this from a stack of American Cinematographer and whoever on set would explain a setup. That is what this is. Free, no paywall, on purpose. Learning to light a scene should not depend on what you can afford.
