मौनम्

वयं सर्वे प्रसिद्धं संस्कृतमहाकविं भारविं जानीमः। तस्य प्रमुखं काव्यं ‘किरातार्जुनीयम्’ इति महाकाव्यम् अस्ति। बाल्यकालादेव महामेधावी सः । श्लोकादिरचना बाललीला इव तस्य । इयं कथा तस्य महतः प्रसिद्धस्य च कवेः भारवेः जीवनयात्रां वर्णयति। (“केन्द्रीयसंस्कृतविश्वविद्यालयस्य अष्टादशीयोजनान्तर्गततया एतासां कथानां ध्वनिप्रक्षेपणं क्रियते”) We all know the famous Sanskrit poet Bhāravi. His chief work is the great epic Kirātārjunīya. From childhood he was extraordinarily gifted, composing verses as if it were child’s play. This story narrates the life journey of the great and renowned poet Bhāravi.
