Pleased with him, they requested Sage Narada to grant the king's wish. When Narada asked what kind of son he desired, the king, driven by greed, wished for a son whose every bodily waste would turn into gold. His wish was fulfilled, and soon the royal treasury overflowed with wealth. But one day, thieves kidnapped the prince. Though they gained much gold, they eventually killed him out of fear of being caught. Thus, the story teaches the timeless lesson: excessive greed leads to destruction.
