小朋友看得超级开心,一直跟我说:“Daddy, juggling is so cool!”

1. One-minute summary|一分钟英文概述

Many English verbs that sound professional today originally described physical actions from everyday life. In this episode, David explores 12 groups of workplace verbs through the pictures behind them. To juggle projects is like keeping several balls in the air, while driving change creates momentum and steering a team provides direction. We tackle problems when we take direct action, but wrestle with decisions when there is no simple answer. We hammer out details through repeated discussion, cultivate trust over time, and shoulder responsibilities that feel heavy. A company may weather a crisis, while a team can flesh out an early idea or cascade a strategy through different levels of an organization. These visual metaphors make subtle differences easier to understand and remember. Instead of memorizing translations, connect each verb to its original physical image. This will help you use workplace English more naturally and precisely in meetings, presentations, résumés, and interviews.
