These Salvadoran Brothers Are Building What Bitcoin Country Looks Like in 2030 | Diego Villeda & Mauricio Villeda of The Bitcoin Life

Would you trust two brothers with zero aviation experience to run El Salvador's helicopter tours, plane charters, and Bitcoin travel experiences? Thousands of Bitcoiners already have. Today on Live From Bitcoin Beach, I sit down with Mauricio and Diego Villeda, founders of Bitcoin Life, the Bitcoin tourism and concierge service company that convinced El Salvador's Minister of Defense to lend them Air Force helicopters. I wanted the full story of how two guys orange-pilled by a $5K Bitcoin client built the most Bitcoin-native travel operation on the planet, and they didn't hold back. It all started with a free Notion page built to help Bitcoiners travel El Salvador, covering transportation, places to stay, and spots that accept Bitcoin over the Lightning Network. Three days after launch, Stacy Herbert retweeted it, and strangers at the Adopting Bitcoin conference were showing the brothers their own guide without knowing who made it. That one retweet turned a side project into a company, and it proved something maxis have said for years, that proof of work beats marketing budgets. These days the brothers run helicopter tours to places most tourists never see, including Lake Ilopango, a lake that had zero tourism when gangs controlled the area. They fly clients beyond El Zonte, land in soccer fields, and pay the local caretakers in sats to clear the space. For Bitcoiners flying in from abroad, they also run VIP airport pickups that take you from immigration straight to a helicopter, plane charters connecting El Salvador with Próspera in Honduras for around $3,000 per group, and real estate guidance for investors front-running the nation-state adoption wave. Every booking, vendor, and ticket runs on Bitcoin, feeding the Bitcoin circular economy that fiat skeptics love to claim doesn't exist. Their biggest project is still ahead, a Bitcoin Street in the Centro Histórico of San Salvador where every business accepts Bitcoin, complete with an academy, an art gallery, and rooftop coffee shops. The brothers are raising from investors before Bitcoin Histórico this November, and I love their case for it. A district that was too dangerous to visit a few years ago deserves a permanent Bitcoin landmark, and low time preference built this country's turnaround. If you've ever wanted to see El Salvador from a military helicopter while paying in sats, these are your guys. Subscribe for more stories from the ground, share this with your favorite nocoiner, and drop a comment telling me which tour you'd book first. —Bitcoin Beach Team Learn more about The Bitcoin Life: X: https://x.com/thebitcoinlife_ X (Diego Villeda): https://x.com/DiegoVilledaa X (Mauricio Villeda): https://x.com/itsMauriVilleda Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thebitcoinlife_ Website: https://www.bitcoinlife.sv/ WhatsApp: +503-6865-6540 Support and follow Bitcoin Beach: X: https://www.twitter.com/BitcoinBeach IG: https://www.instagram.com/bitcoinbeach_sv TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@livefrombitcoinbeach Web: https://www.bitcoinbeach.com STAY AT BITCOIN BEACH: https://www.stayatbitcoinbeach.com/punta-mango-villas Browse through this quick guide to learn more about the episode: 00:00 Intro 01:36 How to get started with Bitcoin as an entrepreneur in El Salvador? 04:36 What was the first Bitcoin meetup in San Salvador like? 07:48 How to build a Bitcoin travel guide that goes viral? 11:42 How to book a helicopter tour in El Salvador with Bitcoin? 14:20 Is Lake Ilopango safe to visit now? 19:27 How does VIP airport pickup work in El Salvador? 21:31 How much does a private flight from El Salvador to Próspera cost? 23:24 What is Bitcoin Street in San Salvador? 29:51 Where can you spend Bitcoin in El Salvador? Is Bitcoin Adoption in El Salvador a Myth? A Local Entrepreneur Gives His Honest Answer | Pierre Valiente of Bitcoin Casa

How does one ride with the wrong passenger turn an ordinary driver into a Bitcoin entrepreneur in El Salvador? I sat down with Pierre Valiente to find out, and his car rentals, airport transfers, and 14-room Bitcoin Casa guest house in San Salvador all accept Bitcoin, which makes life awkward for every critic who keeps telling me locals don't use it. The passenger was Sandy Wade, headed to the Adopting Bitcoin conference back in 2023. She tried to pay him with a $20 bill he couldn't break, he told her to keep it, and she invited him to the conference instead. Two days later he walked out understanding self custody, cold wallets, and why holding your own keys beats trusting a bank. The backstory alone is worth the listen. Pierre was born in Santa Ana, spent 22 years in Los Angeles, and taught English to special forces at a military camp in Dubai for four years before coming home to open his school near Metrocentro. That entrepreneurial streak is exactly what Bitcoin rewarded once he found it. His transportation business started with a single car after he noticed Bitcoiners landing at the airport with no good way to get around. Today the fleet runs from a Jeep Compass at $45 a day up to a brand new 4x4 at $60 to $65, insurance included, no hidden fees, every rental payable in Bitcoin. Anyone spending less than six months a year in the country should hear our rent-versus-buy conversation before letting a car rot through a wet season, and I speak from moldy experience. Bitcoin Casa is the hospitality side of the equation, a 14-room guest house seven minutes from the historic center that he built with his German partner for Bitcoiners who arrive with two suitcases and a plan. Short-term rentals run $35 a night, monthly stays run $500, and the rooms come with standing desks, Starlink, and a Bitcoin ATM in the lobby for anyone who wants to stack on arrival. He's already scouting Antiguo Cuscatlán and San Benito for location number two. Pierre's take on the adoption question might be the most honest one I've heard from a Salvadoran entrepreneur. Older folks sold their Chivo wallet bitcoin for fiat because nobody taught them what they were holding, and the younger generation grew up watching that mistake, so they want control of their own money. He calls himself part of the first wave, and he's hiring locals so the opportunity stays in the country. If this episode makes you want to land here with two suitcases of your own, subscribe, share it with the friend who still calls it magic internet money, and tell us in the comments: would you take the ride or keep the $20? —Bitcoin Beach Team Learn more about Pierre Valiente: WhatsApp: +503 7557 7261 Web: https://www.bitcoincasasv.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bitcoincasasv TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@bitcoin.casa Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61584549045182 Support and follow Bitcoin Beach: X: https://www.twitter.com/BitcoinBeach IG: https://www.instagram.com/bitcoinbeach_sv TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@livefrombitcoinbeach Web: https://www.bitcoinbeach.com STAY AT BITCOIN BEACH: https://www.stayatbitcoinbeach.com/punta-mango-villas Browse through this quick guide to learn more about the episode: 00:00 Intro 01:42 Who is Pierre Valiente from Bitcoin Casa El Salvador? 02:45 What is it like growing up between El Salvador and Los Angeles? 08:42 How do you start an English school in El Salvador? 09:24 How do people in El Salvador get into Bitcoin? 12:28 Do Salvadorans actually use Bitcoin? 17:22 How much does it cost to rent a car in El Salvador? 20:36 Should you rent or buy a car in El Salvador? 28:02 Where do Bitcoiners stay in San Salvador? 35:04 How do you book a Bitcoin friendly Airbnb in El Salvador? STOP Moving to El Salvador for the Wrong Reasons: A Relocation Expert's Honest Warning | Jenn Satterfeld of Livin Like a Local

Why do most expats moving to El Salvador pack up and fly home within three years, even after selling everything for their relocation dream of living abroad in Bitcoin country? Jenn Satterfeld ( @jeniarilagringasalvadorena ) has watched it happen over and over, and she says the ones who make it have something the others don't. I've got Jenn back in the studio, and she's the founder of Living Like a Local, one of the first immigration support and relocation companies in El Salvador. Oh, and she became a Salvadoran citizen the day before we recorded this. Jenn's own path started with world schooling her kids through Central America after her divorce, and she landed here before the Bitcoin Law even passed. Like most gringos, she figured Costa Rica was the place, until corruption, an impounded camper van, and four frustrating months sent her back to the one country that felt different. Then the Régimen de Excepción turned El Salvador into one of the safest countries in the world, her YouTube channel blew up overnight, and her subscribers became her first relocation clients. We get into how a lot of early Bitcoiners got themselves into trouble moving overseas, jumping in without due diligence and signing rental contracts they couldn't read in a legal system that works nothing like the one back home. Jenn explains why you can't sue your way out of a bad lease in El Salvador, why the cheapest lawyer ends up costing you more, and why the gringo tax exists but the folks who feel scammed usually just misread the culture. If you've got kids, you'll want to hear why El Salvador schooling comes before house hunting, and why she thinks educational sovereignty is the next wave coming after the Bitcoiners and the Canadians. Her investigation tour even sets off fireworks outside your hotel at midnight on purpose, because you'd better find out now if this country is for you. What I love most is Jenn's heart for community integration. She's watched the expat community wear out its welcome in Panama and Mexico by living in bubbles instead of becoming part of the neighborhood, and she's determined to keep that from happening here. Her service club, Darlo Mejor para El Salvador, connects expat mentors with Salvadoran youth, including an 87 year old Canadian engineer who answered Pres. @nayibbukele 's call and now speaks to university students about futures they never imagined possible. If this episode made you want to pack your bags, or at least dodge a few lane splitting motorcycles, subscribe to the channel, share it with that friend who won't stop posting about leaving Canada, and tell us in the comments whether you'd survive fireworks outside your window at midnight. —Bitcoin Beach Team Learn more about Jenn Satterfeld: Website: https://www.livinlikealocal.com Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@jeniarilagringasalvadorena Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/_jeni_ari_/ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@_jeni_ari_ FB: facebook.com/LivinLikeALocalSV Support and follow Bitcoin Beach: X: https://www.twitter.com/BitcoinBeach IG: https://www.instagram.com/bitcoinbeach_sv TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@livefrombitcoinbeach Web: https://www.bitcoinbeach.com STAY AT BITCOIN BEACH: https://www.stayatbitcoinbeach.com/punta-mango-villas Browse through this quick guide to learn more about the episode: 00:00 Intro 02:33 What is it like moving to El Salvador as a single mom with kids? 04:58 Why are expats leaving Costa Rica for El Salvador? 08:43 What does a relocation company in El Salvador actually do? 13:56 What legal mistakes do foreigners make when moving to El Salvador? 16:57 Should you visit El Salvador before moving there? 22:15 Why do most expats move back home after two or three years? 24:37 What are the best school options in El Salvador for expat families? 28:43 Why are Canadians moving to El Salvador? 35:21 How can expats give back and integrate into El Salvador? 44:57 Is the gringo tax real or are expats just misreading the culture? 46:50 How do you get Salvadoran citizenship as a foreigner? El Salvador's Bitcoin Dream vs. Reality: What Entrepreneurs Actually Find When They Arrive | Michael Ruiz & Luis Esparragoza of Build in El Salvador

Would you sell everything and move to El Salvador, or is that just a Bitcoin fantasy? The founders of Build in El Salvador (@BuildInES) reveal why Bitcoin expats thrive or quit. In this episode, Mike Peterson sits down with Michael Ruiz and Luis Esparragoza, whose community helps startup founders and Bitcoiners relocate, connect, and build businesses in one of the most talked-about emerging markets in the world. Plenty of Bitcoiners arrive full of excitement, and some pack up and leave within months. This conversation digs into why, and what separates the ones who stay. The episode opens with a story most people only saw from the outside. Michael's former business partner at Sovereignty Studios gave up everything to move to El Salvador, hit a wall, and left with a viral rant so heated that President @nayibbukele himself responded. Michael shares what really happened behind that public exit, why he calls it a genuine loss of talent for the country, and how watching a friend rage quit shaped everything he built afterward. That "everything" became Build in El Salvador, which started as a humble Substack where Michael and Luis interviewed local entrepreneurs, including one who changed his name to Papusa, bought a million dollar passport, and now farms avocados in Santa Ana. The writing grew into a community of over 100 entrepreneurs connected through masterminds, roundtables, and a WhatsApp group, a business networking layer for the whole expat scene. When one member sliced his eye with a saw, the local community had a trusted doctor recommendation in his hands within a minute. That kind of support is what keeps talent in the country when things get hard. Michael and Luis are also brutally honest about who should stay home. El Salvador has huge first mover advantages, and it also has rough edges, language barriers, and antiquated systems that will break you if you arrive expecting Dubai. Thriving there takes a specific entrepreneur mindset: a low time preference, a willingness to build through discomfort, and the humility to ask a community for help. If your plan is margaritas on the beach while the opportunity finds you, this episode will probably talk you out of the move, and that might be the most valuable thing it does. The conversation closes with two developments worth knowing about. El Salvador residency rules changed in 2026, and temporary residents now need only 90 days per year in the country instead of nine months, a huge shift for podcasters, founders, and anyone who travels for work. And the guests recap the SovAI Summit, where about 25 Build in El Salvador members attended and Michael interviewed speakers at the National Palace as the country positions itself as a first mover in sovereign AI. If this episode helped you, subscribe, share it with a friend who keeps threatening to move, and tell us in the comments: would you get on the one-way ticket? —Bitcoin Beach Team Learn more about Build in El Salvador: Website: https://buildinelsalvador.com Twitter/X: https://x.com/BuildInES YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@Buildinelsalvador Substack: https://buildinelsalvador.substack.com Skool community (free): https://www.skool.com/build-in-el-salvador-2170/about Support and follow Bitcoin Beach: X: https://www.twitter.com/BitcoinBeach IG: https://www.instagram.com/bitcoinbeach_sv TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@livefrombitcoinbeach Web: https://www.bitcoinbeach.com STAY AT BITCOIN BEACH: https://www.stayatbitcoinbeach.com/punta-mango-villas Browse through this quick guide to learn more about the episode: 00:00 Intro 01:21 What happened to Sovereignty Studios in El Salvador? 03:38 Why do Bitcoiners leave El Salvador and did Bukele really respond to that viral rant? 08:01 Should I move to El Salvador or is it overhyped? 09:20 What is Build in El Salvador and how do I join the community? 14:00 What is it like moving to El Salvador as a Latin American Bitcoiner? 17:16 How do Bitcoin entrepreneurs find their tribe in El Salvador? 22:19 How does the expat community in El Salvador help when things go wrong? 27:07 What changed about El Salvador residency rules in 2026? 33:53 What happened at the SovAI Summit at the National Palace? What Nobody Tells You About Starting a Bitcoin Wallet in El Salvador | Kevin Ayala, CEO Blink El Salvador

Would you trust Bitcoin and a Lightning Network digital wallet to rebuild your life in El Salvador after COVID destroyed your business and the banks turned away? Kevin Ayala (@KevinAyala24) did, and that choice runs through his whole story. He grew up training as a violinist in El Salvador's national orchestra, and he first heard about Bitcoin in 2009 from a high school teacher. He didn't have a credit card or access to an exchange, so he walked away from it more than once over the next decade, a reminder of how much friction used to stand between a person and true self-custody. Then COVID hit. Kevin had just opened a computer and phone repair shop backed by a $30,000 family bank loan, and the lockdown shut it down within three months. He talks openly about carrying that debt with no income coming in, and about his parents refusing to make him feel guilty for it. The traditional financial system had given him a loan, but no way to keep earning against it once the doors closed. Bitcoin is what got him back on his feet, and it happened outside the banking system entirely. Kevin started earning small amounts through freelance design and repair work, paid directly over the Lightning Network. He found the Bitcoin Beach Wallet, ran his own Lightning node, and built a habit of stacking sats one gig at a time in El Zonte, the town where this circular economy took root before most of the world had heard of it. A digital wallet with no bank attached became his entire income, and a crash course in financial literacy along the way. From there, Kevin gets into teaching at the House of Bitcoin, co-founding Asobitcoin, and joining 40 Acres, an OTC desk for businesses named after a broken 19th century government promise. The 40 acres and a mule were taken back from the people who earned them. Bitcoin can't be taken back the same way. He talks about financial literacy spreading through El Zonte neighbor to neighbor, and how that kind of grassroots community building is the actual mechanism behind a working circular Bitcoin economy. The episode closes with Kevin's current role as CEO of Blink Wallet for El Salvador, and this is where it gets uncomfortable for anyone who assumes legal tender status solved everything. He explains why Blink got debanked, what Stablesats actually is under the hood, and why regulators keep confusing sound tech innovation built on Bitcoin with the kind of risk they're used to policing. Kevin's stacking, building, and helping the next person do the same in a country where the banks still haven't caught up to the law. Subscribe, share this with someone who thinks they missed their window, and tell us in the comments, would you have trusted your parents' credit card with $10 of Bitcoin back in 2011? —Bitcoin Beach Team Learn more about Kevin Ayala: X: https://x.com/KevinAyala24 X: https://x.com/40acres_sv X: https://x.com/blinkbtc Web: https://www.40acres.pro/ Web: https://www.blink.sv/ Support and follow Bitcoin Beach: X: https://www.twitter.com/BitcoinBeach IG: https://www.instagram.com/bitcoinbeach_sv TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@livefrombitcoinbeach Web: https://www.bitcoinbeach.com STAY AT BITCOIN BEACH: https://www.stayatbitcoinbeach.com/punta-mango-villas Browse through this quick guide to learn more about the episode: 00:00 Intro 01:38 Why couldn't people buy Bitcoin in 2009 without exchanges or credit cards? 05:18 Can you make a living as a musician in El Salvador? 07:25 How did COVID lockdowns destroy small businesses in El Salvador? 10:20 How to earn Bitcoin online through freelance work instead of buying it? 13:31 What is the Bitcoin Beach Wallet and how did it become Blink? 19:07 What is the House of Bitcoin and how does Asobitcoin support Bitcoin in El Salvador? 27:13 How do Bitcoiners network and find jobs in the Bitcoin industry? 32:41 What does 40 acres and a mule have to do with Bitcoin self-custody? 39:21 Why do banks close accounts of Bitcoin companies in El Salvador? El Salvador's Bitcoin Experiment Just Reached a New Milestone & Nobody Is Talking About It | Renato Salazar of New Story Homes

Should families in El Zonte, El Salvador who've never owned anything pay their mortgage in Bitcoin, or does charity work better when it's free? New Story bet on the mortgage, and 122 families are about to become homeowners because of it. Mike Peterson sits down with Renato Salazar (@HolaIAmRenato) to talk about the project turning some of the most expensive land in El Salvador into first-time property ownership for families who've been living in shacks and on land they don't own. Renato explains why charging a small mortgage beats giving homes away. Paying every month builds financial education, and once families hit a payment, they start thinking about a motorcycle or a small pupuseria next to the house. The nonprofit has built almost 1,000 homes in El Salvador, and the pattern repeats: homeownership turns new neighbors into a community with its own local economy, and owning land in El Zonte means these families can build generational wealth for the first time. The payment rails are where maxis will lean in. Families scan a QR code from their phone or a K1 Bitcoin ATM and pay using tools built by Salvadoran companies Tianki and Blink, with WhatsApp notifications and a dashboard that shows New Story who's falling behind so they can help. Many of these families are learning to use email for the first time, so the project is driving a digital transformation in a community that started with voice notes. Then the conversation turns to legacy banking in Bitcoin country. A banker told Renato that any company with Bitcoin in its name goes to the blacklist, credit card payments stack up to 12% in fees while the Bitcoin page cost cents to run, and you still can't pay payroll taxes in Bitcoin in the nation that made it legal tender. They close with Stay at Bitcoin Beach, the vacation rentals running on a Bitcoin standard anyway: Punta Mango Villas open seven months and orange-pilling curious guests, plus the new Bitcoin Beach Suites in El Zonte, walking distance from the beach and priced for Bitcoiners who'd rather stack sats than splurge. If this episode made you want to pay a mortgage by scanning a QR code, or at least book a surf trip, subscribe, share it with a friend, and drop a comment. Renato says the tienditas are asking to be paid in Bitcoin now, so the comment section should catch up. —Bitcoin Beach Team Learn more about Renato Salazar: X: https://x.com/HolaIAmRenato X: https://x.com/NewStoryHomes Web: https://www.newstoryhomes.org/ Support and follow Bitcoin Beach: X: https://www.twitter.com/BitcoinBeach IG: https://www.instagram.com/bitcoinbeach_sv TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@livefrombitcoinbeach Web: https://www.bitcoinbeach.com STAY AT BITCOIN BEACH: https://www.stayatbitcoinbeach.com/punta-mango-villas Browse through this quick guide to learn more about the episode: 00:00 Intro 00:57 How did Renato Salazar help launch Strike in El Salvador? 03:55 Can you actually build affordable housing on a Bitcoin standard? 06:12 How do families pay a mortgage over Lightning with a QR code? 09:11 What does a Bitcoin mortgage dashboard look like in the real world? 11:46 Does Bitcoin teach financial sovereignty better than charity handouts? 13:30 Is Bitcoin adoption pricing locals out of El Zonte or protecting them? 17:06 Who are the first families in the world paying mortgages in Bitcoin? 21:16 Why does the legacy banking system blacklist Bitcoin businesses in Bitcoin country? 27:49 Why pay 12% to credit card rails when Lightning costs cents? How El Salvador's Bitcoin Ecosystem Launched a Tech Company in 28 Countries | Edgar Borja of K1 Technology

Why trust a custodian with your sats? Edgar Borja (@k1elsalvador) breaks down K1's self-custody Bitcoin ATM, on-chain and Lightning buying, and Bitcoin in Bolivia. Edgar walks through K1's new update, buying Bitcoin on the Lightning Network and on-chain, what's happening with Bitcoin adoption in Bolivia, and what it's like pitching investors 5,000 times. K1's machines now support on-chain and Lightning purchases with full self-custody, cutting out Strike, Blink, and OpenNode entirely. Edgar demos a live on-chain purchase and explains why every K1 transaction is RBF disabled, so once it's broadcast, it's final. K1 machines now run in 28 countries. That growth reflects real tech innovation in Bitcoin hardware, built for the global market from day one. The team solved for different bill sizes, currencies, and KYC rules in every country they shipped to. Edgar covers how KYC gets configured machine by machine, why K1 stays buy-only for now, and a cash-dispensing module already demoed at the Adopting Bitcoin conference. Small business owners get a direct pitch here. Edgar walks through the three K1 tiers, Mini, Mini Plus, and Mini Global, plus pricing and why the bill acceptor is the hardest part to build. If you're exploring digital asset management or a new source of business growth, a Bitcoin ATM in a coffee shop or corner store is a low-friction way to start. Then there's Bolivia. Edgar saw a fiat currency failing in real time, banks offering 6 Bolivianos to the dollar while the street rate hit 10. The government built its own workaround digital payments network just to keep money moving. This is what pulls people toward hard money. Watching their savings shrink every week, people in Cochabamba are turning to Bitcoin. Edgar also shares K1's education tools: a crayon-and-paper workshop that teaches private keys, and a board game called MerkColor that teaches Merkle trees in under a minute. He talks about pitching investors an estimated 5,000 times on a Bitcoin startup accelerator and reality show, plus his advice for founders: fall in love with the problem you're solving. Hit subscribe, share this with someone who thinks Bitcoin ATMs are just coin machines, and tell us in the comments if you'd trust a machine with your private key. —Bitcoin Beach Team Learn more about Edgar Borja: X: https://x.com/K1ElSalvador Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/k1elsalvador Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/k1elsalvador LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/k1elsalvador/ Web: k1.sv Email Address: borja@k1.sv Support and follow Bitcoin Beach: X: https://www.twitter.com/BitcoinBeach IG: https://www.instagram.com/bitcoinbeach_sv TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@livefrombitcoinbeach Web: https://www.bitcoinbeach.com STAY AT BITCOIN BEACH: https://www.stayatbitcoinbeach.com/punta-mango-villas Browse through this quick guide to learn more about the episode: 00:00 Intro 01:40 How many countries run K1 Bitcoin ATMs now? 02:07 How does a self-custody Bitcoin ATM let you buy Bitcoin on-chain? 08:49 Can you buy Bitcoin from an ATM without KYC? 13:08 Where are Bitcoin ATMs actually installed in the real world? 16:23 Why are Bolivians turning to Bitcoin as their currency collapses? 25:18 What is it like pitching a Bitcoin company on a startup accelerator reality show? 37:42 How do you teach kids about private keys and self-custody using crayons? 47:31 Which self-custody Bitcoin ATM should you buy and how does shipping work? 57:29 Is Bitcoin still winning in El Salvador after the IMF deal? Why Bitcoiners Who Rage Quit El Salvador After the IMF Deal Will Regret It | Will Lehr of Club Cocal, James of Beef Back Better & Bitcoin Farmers Market, Ronny Avendano of the Bitcoin Hardware Store

Is El Salvador still Bitcoin country, or did the world move on the moment the IMF deal got signed? Mike sits down with Will Lehr (@thewilliamlehr) from Club Cocal, James (@beefbackbetter) from Beef Back Better, and Ronny Avendano (@ronnyavendano_) from the Bitcoin Hardware Store to talk about the Bitcoin farmers market, El Salvador real estate, self custody, and what life on a Bitcoin standard actually looks like on the ground today. The conversation starts with the Bitcoin farmers market, which just hit its three year anniversary. What began as a small gathering in El Zonte has grown into a real engine of local commerce, connecting Salvadoran vendors, ranchers, and artisans directly with the people buying from them. No intermediaries or faceless supply chain, just a producer, a buyer, and Bitcoin changing hands. The group traces how it moved from El Zonte to its current home at Club Cocal and why it's become the meeting point for Bitcoiners from all over the country. From there the talk shifts to why so many people are choosing to build their lives here in the first place. Will calls it a reverse brain drain, skilled people and capital flowing into El Salvador instead of out of it, drawn by a level of freedom and safety they say they can't find at home anymore. Several guests point to what they see as government overreach elsewhere, unrealized capital gains taxes in the Netherlands, wallet registration requirements in the EU, Bitcoin ATMs disappearing in Canada, as the exact pressure pushing people toward a country that's betting the other direction. That bet shows up clearest in El Salvador real estate. Will walks through what he calls a Bitcoin floor underneath land values here, and makes the case that El Zonte now holds some of the most expensive property per square foot in the entire country. Whether that's a sign of a healthy market or a bubble waiting to pop is left for the viewer to decide, but the group is clear about where they're placing their own money. The episode closes on something bigger than any single topic, the idea that self custody and freedom tech aren't just Bitcoin concepts, they're a full lifestyle. Arrested and Debanked in Germany, Free in El Salvador: A Warning to Every Bitcoin Maxi in Europe | Michael Ballweg

What if the government used debanking and digital surveillance to silence you? Michael Ballweg (@Michael_Ballweg), founder of Querdenken, rebuilt on a Bitcoin standard in El Salvador and is now fighting for local AI and data sovereignty while Europe tightens its grip on free speech and privacy protection. Michael took a 180-person rally in Stuttgart and grew it into 1.3 million people in Berlin with Robert Kennedy Jr. on stage, all under the banner of free speech and the right to peacefully assemble. The German government responded by sending the Verfassungsschutz, Germany's constitutional protection agency, to monitor him, label him an extremist, and eventually raid his home on fraud charges that prosecutors spent years trying to make stick. What followed was nine months in Stammheim prison, the same facility built for RAF terrorists in the 1970s, with no finalized charge, no bank account, no house, and no company infrastructure left standing. Full debanking meant living on cash and Bitcoin for nearly four years, and that forced experiment turned Michael into one of the most practically tested voices alive on what government overreach actually costs when it targets someone who keeps saying no. After a 44-day trial and a complete acquittal on every meaningful charge, Michael and his wife landed in El Salvador and never looked back. Living on a Bitcoin standard here means a 12-cent transaction that clears in 10 minutes with nobody's permission required, and that experience makes the old banking system feel less like a convenience and more like a leash he's glad to have cut. His focus now sits at the intersection of privacy protection and decentralized technology, watching centralized AI absorb the same power Big Tech used to capture the open internet in the 1990s. He's building with local AI tools that keep data out of corporate servers, using privacy-first devices for his Bitcoin stack, and watching Europe quietly roll out mandatory digital ID while most people are still arguing about whether any of it matters. —Bitcoin Beach Team Learn more about Michael Ballweg: X: https://x.com/michael_ballweg Web: https://michael-ballweg.de/en/ Web: https://digitaler-aktivist.org/ Patreon: https://presse.querdenken-711.de/en/home/ Support and follow Bitcoin Beach: X: https://www.twitter.com/BitcoinBeach IG: https://www.instagram.com/bitcoinbeach_sv TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@livefrombitcoinbeach Web: https://www.bitcoinbeach.com Browse through this quick guide to learn more about the episode: 0:00 Intro 1:23 Who is Michael Ballweg and what is the Querdenken movement? 5:10 Did European governments coordinate COVID protest bans? 6:27 How did Querdenken grow to 1.3 million people in Berlin with RFK Jr.? 13:18 Why was a German protest organizer arrested for money laundering and fraud? 19:41 What happens to your assets when the German government raids your home? 26:13 How did Michael Ballweg win acquittal after nine months in Stammheim prison? 34:07 Why are Bitcoiners leaving Europe and moving to El Salvador? 38:51 How do you live on a Bitcoin standard when banks refuse to open your account? 43:47 Is centralized AI the next big censorship threat after social media? He Sold Everything, Moved to El Salvador, and Found Something Bigger Than Bitcoin | Chris Meinhart

How much longer can productive labor stay trapped in a crumbling European fiat system before the logical move is to opt out entirely, escape rigid structures, and seek an anti-fragile alternative? Many wonder whether El Salvador is truly a sovereign haven or just a developing nation running a clever marketing stunt, but the answer becomes clear when you look at how the Ministry of Education and Bitcoin Beach are using El Zonte as a blueprint to transform the local economy through financial literacy. In this episode, Chris Meinhart (@ChrisMeinhart) drops by to give us a raw, boots on the ground perspective of his radical personal pivot away from the highly regulated German job system straight to the frontier of Bitcoin Country. It is a wild testimony of what happens when you stop asking permission from failing institutions and actively choose geographic arbitrage to secure your wealth on a sound money standard. Living on a parallel economic standard is about way more than watching a chart or speculating on a digital currency. It is about seeing how honest money completely reshapes a local economy from the grassroots up. Chris lived this firsthand. After getting hit with a corporate tech layoff back in Europe, he used X to connect with sovereign networks and eventually transition to Central America. He is incredibly open about his early days managing communities for local NGOs, including the tough lessons he learned from public internet drama, and why true sovereignty means tuning out the online noise to focus entirely on building real-world regional infrastructure. If you are serious about building an anti-fragile life, you have to get out of the transient tourist bubbles and plant real roots in the community. Chris started out navigating the standard residency paperwork while living near the volcano in San Salvador, but he ultimately found his home in the western mountains of Juayúa. Along the Ruta de las Flores, he and his Salvadoran wife bought land and built a small, self-sufficient homestead from scratch in just three months. It is a fantastic blueprint showing the kind of personal freedom that opens up when you approach a developing nation with cultural humility, learn the language, and build alongside the local people. The real magic happens when you bring structural financial literacy directly to the youth instead of just waiting around for organic adoption. Chris is right in the thick of this now, working with the National Bitcoin Office to roll out the Bitcoin Diploma 2.0 pilot program in public schools. Working hand in hand with the ministry of education, this ten-part curriculum deliberately leaves out wallets and technical coding at the start. Instead, it teaches kids to rethink their relationship with money, focusing on delayed gratification and saving for the future. By scaling the exact circular models we originally proved out here in El Zonte into a nationwide framework, they are helping the next generation build true generational wealth. —Bitcoin Beach Team Learn more about Chris Meinhart: X: https://x.com/ChrisMeinhart Support and follow Bitcoin Beach: X: https://www.twitter.com/BitcoinBeach IG: https://www.instagram.com/bitcoinbeach_sv TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@livefrombitcoinbeach Web: https://www.bitcoinbeach.com Browse through this quick guide to learn more about the episode: 00:00 Intro 01:30 What is real grassroots hyper-bitcoinization like in El Salvador? 03:41 How to build a sovereign expat network using X Twitter 07:05 Is Bitcoin used as everyday money in Bitcoin Beach El Zonte? 10:07 How learning Spanish helps expats with geographic arbitrage in El Salvador 11:16 How to buy land and build a homestead in Juayua El Salvador 13:16 How to protect Bitcoin circular economies from toxic social media drama 17:44 How the National Bitcoin Office deploys Bitcoin Diploma 2.0 in public schools 24:30 Why you must teach low time preference before using Bitcoin wallets 28:44 How living on a sound money standard triggers a spiritual awakening Live From Bitcoin Beach

Is Bitcoin Backed by Anything? How a Coffee Farm in El Salvador Proved Peter Schiff Wrong

Can Bitcoin save traditional farming from total collapse? El Salvador's Cherito (@CheritoCafe) de-financialized his supply chain, uses a Bitcoin circular economy to bypass banks, and runs nodes inside his coffee lab! In this episode, we sit down with Jorge, globally recognized in the community as Cherito, to dissect how legacy financial institutions manipulate commodity pricing to trap agricultural families in a perpetual cycle of poverty after leaving a lucrative technology and finance career in Seattle to return home to El Salvador. We took a look at how he is merging specialty coffee, agroecology, and a peer-to-peer Bitcoin standard to build an automated, zero-fiat circular economy from the ground up. Faced with total ruin from systemic economic decay and a devastating agricultural plague, Jorge realized that the only path to survival was to completely opt out of the generic commodity market by fundamentally restructuring how high-end specialty coffee is valued. Through the launch of the Bio Crop Project, he pioneered a localized framework that prioritizes biological resilience and ancestral agroecology over industrial chemicals and corporate-controlled seed monopolies, proving that wealth creation requires physical sacrifice, strategic crop diversification, and an unyielding commitment to local food independence. To fully protect this model from predatory global inflation, Jorge took absolute control of his supply chain by vertically integrating everything from the volcanic soil to direct international exporting. He breaks down how shielding delicate bean profiles from corporate exploitation relies entirely on understanding how to leverage the distinct microclimate and high-altitude terroir of El Salvador's mountains. By taking his message directly to global academic panels and roaster guilds, he transformed a vulnerable, localized crop into a premium global asset capable of dictating its own fair valuation on international markets. The structural revolution took place when this physical infrastructure collided with a digital, sound money standard right here in El Zonte. Jorge explains how finding the Bitcoin whitepaper provided the missing link for his business, allowing him to establish a completely self-sustaining circular economy that operates entirely outside the legacy banking grid. By anchoring his operations to a peer-to-peer electronic cash network, he successfully eliminated credit card processing traps, currency devaluation risks, and international wire delays, allowing his business to reallocate bank fees directly into the pockets of his local workers. We wrap up the conversation inside his newly launched flagship facility, where the boundaries of a traditional business are being completely redrawn through onsite coffee roasting, active ASIC miners, and a live blockchain node visualizer. We also dive into the fascinating history of his beautifully restored 1974 GM Cherito truck, which is a rare piece of Salvadorean automotive engineering that embodies absolute scarcity. Finally, Jorge reveals the genius behind upcycling discarded fruit skins into a refreshing, antioxidant-rich beverage the community now proudly calls "Bitcoin Libre", proving that under a true proof-of-work standard, absolutely nothing goes to waste. —Bitcoin Beach Team Learn more about Cherito: X: https://x.com/CheritoCafe Web: https://www.cheritocafe.com/ IG: https://www.instagram.com/cheritocafe.sv Support and follow Bitcoin Beach: X: https://www.twitter.com/BitcoinBeach IG: https://www.instagram.com/bitcoinbeach_sv TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@livefrombitcoinbeach Web: https://www.bitcoinbeach.com Browse through this quick guide to learn more about the episode: 00:00 Intro 01:25 Why do tech professionals quit fiat careers for El Salvador? 05:09 How does legacy financial structure impact farming stability? 09:01 How do you bypass banking intermediaries via a circular economy? 10:52 Why does physical proof of work require long-term capital? 17:09 How does El Salvador protect commodities from global inflation? 25:31 Why is specialty coffee cultivation analog proof of work? 32:00 What does the bitcoin supply cap teach us about scarcity? 45:24 How do you run a routing node and ASIC miners inside a business? 49:24 Why is Bitcoin Libre a direct challenge to central planning? Artificial Intelligence Meets Bitcoin: Inside Bukele’s Trillion-Dollar Plan for El Salvador | Will Hernandez of AsoBitcoin

Is El Salvador truly a Bitcoin paradise, or are banks winning the war? AsoBitcoin President Will Hernandez (@whbitcoin) reveals the truth about banking, taxes, and real estate. If El Salvador is the ultimate haven for financial freedom, why is it still an absolute nightmare for a Bitcoin company to open a simple savings account? There is a massive disconnect between political idealism and reality on the ground even though several years have passed since the historic bitcoin law entered into force. In this episode, Will Hernandez, President of the El Salvador Bitcoin Association (AsoBitcoin), joins us in the studio to pull back the curtain on what it actually takes to operate a business inside the first country to make Bitcoin an official legal tender. We tackle the legacy financial system because it represents the biggest battleground for business owners right now. Traditional Salvadoran banks are actively utilizing their legal right of refusal to lock out crypto startups, which proves that institutional hostility remains a major hurdle. To bypass this friction, we lay out a major three month challenge for the association to develop a sovereign tax framework alongside the government. If businesses can pay their corporate and payroll taxes entirely in Bitcoin via OTC intermediaries, entrepreneurs can finally opt out of the fiat system and achieve true corporate asset protection. International capital continues to flood into the country due to unprecedented corporate tax incentives. Will explains how international founders are completely restructuring their corporate balance sheets because El Salvador charges zero percent capital gains tax when you hold a digital asset in your corporate treasury. This unique tax exemption has triggered a massive boom in the local property market, and it has transformed the coastline into a global hotspot for real estate investment where buyers use specialized OTC desks to close deals entirely on a bitcoin standard. The grassroots movement is winning the long game through localized Bitcoin circular economies while legacy institutions stall. From surf towns like El Zonte to new tech hubs, communities are building a parallel economy where everyday users constantly refine the software UX. Will emphasizes that the next critical step involves structural education, and he is pushing the Ministry of Education to mandate Bitcoin literacy in private school curriculums so that the next generation natively understands sound money systems. El Salvador is already positioning itself for the next technological super-cycle by exploring the intersection of decentralized money and sovereign AI. The government is actively pushing its own officials to adopt these emerging technologies because it anticipates a future where autonomous AI agents use the Bitcoin network for automated machine-to-machine payments. This episode provides an unfiltered, boots-on-the-ground look at the triumphs, structural bottlenecks, and future of the ultimate macroeconomic experiment. Cloning El Salvador’s Bitcoin Beach: How India, Peru, & the Dominican Republic are Adopting Bitcoin | Plebs Together Strong, MOTIV Perú, Bitcoindominicana

Is legacy aid a fiat trap? See how unbanked communities use a Bitcoin standard and circular economy networks to achieve sustainable development. We recorded this episode right from the beach in El Zonte, El Salvador, following the conclusion of our global Bitcoin circular economy summit. Leaders from all over the world came into town to show how they are bypassing corporate charities and corrupt state infrastructure. It was incredibly humbling to sit down with three of these absolute warriors to hear how they are driving a true grassroots movement for monetary freedom on the absolute front lines of global hyperbitcoinization. First, I catch up with Pedro (@btcdominicana) from Bitcoin Dominicana, who is proving that you do not need IMF approval or a legacy bank account to build a self-sustaining circular economy. He shares updates on his amazing work in Santo Domingo and the surrounding mountains, including the launch of the very first Bitcoin-only hotel in the Dominican Republic. We talk about how a cash society with a massive unbanked population is actually the perfect environment to ditch fiat entirely. Pedro explains why starting small with close community development beats trying to launch in a massive city all at once, and how digital payments are helping local agricultural communities protect their hard-earned wealth from state inflation. Next up is Aaronman (@plebstogether) from Bitcoin Beach Goa and Plebs Together Strong, who is battling the massive wave of shitcoin noise and crypto affinity fraud slowing down adoption in India. India is historically a massive hub for sound money like gold, but the mainstream corporate media narrative has left the younger demographic completely blind to true financial education. We discuss how his team is tapping into this massive tech-savvy youth population to build local sovereign infrastructure, create remote freelance opportunities to earn Bitcoin online, and open up direct remittance corridors that bypass greedy middlemen to foster sustainable development back in local villages. Finally, I sit down with Valentin Popescu (@MotivPeru) from Motiv Peru to look at how a pure Bitcoin standard completely obliterates the necessity of legacy international humanitarian aid. Valentin and his team are operating across fifteen different sites spanning the coast, the Andes, and the deep Amazon jungle, proving that opt-in money is the ultimate tool for genuine empowerment. Families are using sats every single day for English classes, entrepreneurship programs, and even to buy clean water from a community well funded entirely by the project. We also talk about their massive Copa Bitcoin surf competition in Huanchaco and how they connected local youth culture with global tourism. This episode is all the proof you need that a peer-to-peer monetary standard is not a far-off dream, it has already been put into action by the places that need it most. How Bitcoin Circular Economies Escape State Surveillance (Fedimint, Indonesia Bitcoin Ban, South Korea Bitcoin, Inah Citadel & White Paper House)

Can you truly protect your assets if a third party controls your data? The Global Circular Bitcoin Economy Summit in El Zonte just wrapped up, and the focus on the ground was centered entirely on the raw, unyielding mechanics of financial survival and digital sovereignty rather than price action or trading charts. This week, we are cutting straight through the fiat marketing noise to talk to the world-class builders who are physically constructing parallel, decentralized, un-surveillable systems right now. First, we sit down with Renata Rodrigues (@renatarodr) from Fedi to unpack why digital privacy is a complete necessity in an era of tightening global surveillance. Renata breaks down how the Fedi wallet and the open-source Fedimint protocol are giving localized communities the tools to completely break free from centralized platforms like Telegram or WhatsApp. We look directly into how combining encrypted chat with shared financial custody allows any group to establish its own autonomous federation. This gives sovereign individuals total control over what data they choose to reveal to the outside world, and we track exactly how these systems are scaling globally, from the closed-loop nodes defying bans in Indonesia to the intense intellectual proof of work required by communities in South Korea. Then, Daniel (@wph_merida) from Bitcoin Merida joins us to map out why true local adoption has to integrate with local geography, native culture, and the ultimate goal of absolute, off-grid self-sufficiency. Daniel pulls back the curtain on the massive legal and structural undertaking behind the INAH Citadel, which is a 230-acre intentional community built deep in the Mexican jungle of Yucatan, alongside their local urban hub, the White Paper House. We break down exactly how their team established a secure Fideicomiso trust structure to handle real estate transactions, how they are leveraging local tourism to empower nearby Mayan agricultural schools, and the wild story behind a massive private cenote that secures total water independence for the citadel. We cover a massive amount of ground in these conversations, including the deployment of private community wallets, zero-custody financial tools, the twelve-book entry requirement for Bitcoin South Korea, the legal architecture for buying property in Mexico, and integrating solar grids for alternative energy independence. If you are ready to stop waiting for permission, achieve true self-sufficiency, and learn how to build a resilient Bitcoin circular economy that can withstand state overreach, make sure to subscribe, leave a comment, and share this episode because your support helps us bring more of these underground stories to light. Just remember, if anyone asks who gave you permission to opt out of the legacy system, tell them the President of Bitcoin approved it. —Bitcoin Beach Team Learn more about the guests: X (Renata Rodrigues): https://x.com/lobaestrangeira X (Daniel): https://x.com/inahcitadel X (White Paper House): https://x.com/whitepaper_H X (FEDI): https://x.com/fedibtc Support and follow Bitcoin Beach: X: https://www.twitter.com/BitcoinBeach IG: https://www.instagram.com/bitcoinbeach_sv TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@livefrombitcoinbeach Web: https://www.bitcoinbeach.com Browse through this quick guide to learn more about the episode: 00:00 Intro 00:53 Fedi wallet vs Telegram for decentralized community coordination 03:01 How Fedimint protocol protects local transaction privacy 07:31 Bypassing crypto bans with closed loop Bitcoin networks 09:07 Proof of work requirements for sovereign Bitcoin onboarding 15:09 Hyperbitcoinization strategies and local adoption in Mexico 18:00 How to build an off-grid Bitcoin citadel infrastructure 23:04 Real-world hyperbitcoinization and business node integration 25:42 Buying Mexican real estate via Bitcoin Fideicomiso trust 31:02 Securing off-grid water sovereignty and energy independence Live From Bitcoin Beach

Uncle Rockstar Dev: BTCPay Server, Cypherpunk Ethos, Bitcoin Circular Economies and El Salvador

Is the Wall Street ETF narrative killing peer-to-peer Bitcoin adoption? Is Bitcoin failing if it only becomes a corporate store of value hoarded on Wall Street? Institutional demand and exchange-traded funds are not the end game for hyperbitcoinization. True freedom requires building an alternative economic system entirely outside legacy banking, proving that Bitcoin must function as everyday money to succeed. Uncle Rockstar Dev (@r0ckstardev) unpacks how open source software protects financial sovereignty. The cypherpunk history of BTCPay Server demonstrates how a non-custodial payment gateway allows anyone to host a node without asking permission. Relying on a centralized crypto payment processor intermediates your wealth, meaning you must self-host your infrastructure to enforce individual sovereignty. A thriving circular economy operates directly on the ground. From kids using the Lightning Network to buy choco bananas in El Zonte to alternative networks expanding across Africa and Indonesia, communities are establishing localized ecosystems. These regions completely bypass legacy structures, choosing instead to settle daily medium of exchange transactions directly in Satoshis. Documenting this global shift requires a dedicated grassroots movement of creators who reject mainstream financial media. Independent documentarians Zack Dorsey (@zackdorseyx) and Brandon Martin (@elbrandonmartin) share their proof of work traveling from Central America to Mauritius to capture peer to peer adoption. Capturing these alternative networks on camera is vital to countering corporate narratives and demonstrating how local financial inclusion scales from the bottom up. This decentralized evolution dismantles the broken, top-down corporate NGO model. Instead of creating loops of financial dependency, the leaders meeting at the Zonte Economic Forum are connecting their localized circles to build global network synergy. If you are ready to stop accumulating fiat and start participating in the parallel economy, smash that subscribe button, leave your thoughts on economic sovereignty below, and share this with someone still paying with dirty cash. —Bitcoin Beach Team Connect and Learn more about the guests: Uncle Rockstar (X): https://x.com/r0ckstardev Jethro Toro (X): https://x.com/JethroToro Brandon Martin (X): https://x.com/elbrandonmartin Zack Dorsey: (X): https://x.com/zackdorseyx Support and follow Bitcoin Beach: X: https://www.twitter.com/BitcoinBeach IG: https://www.instagram.com/bitcoinbeach_sv TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@livefrombitcoinbeach Web: https://www.bitcoinbeach.com Browse through this quick guide to learn more about the episode: 00:00 Intro 02:21 How to accept Bitcoin for business using self hosted BTCPay Server 04:16 BTCPay Server vs BitPay: Why Nicolas Dorier built an open source alternative 06:30 Why hyperbitcoinization depends entirely on grassroots adoption 10:02 What a real Bitcoin standard looks like in El Salvador and globally 11:42 Will Bitcoin fail if it only becomes a Wall Street store of value 12:42 Why Bitcoin Beach rejected the centralized fiat NGO funding model 21:23 Proof of Work journalism: Independent media reporting on El Salvador 24:44 What it is really like moving to El Salvador to live on Bitcoin 27:31 How connecting peer to peer networks creates global monetary synergy Live From Bitcoin Beach

Behind The World's First Bitcoin Air Taxi Network in El Salvador

Explore how James McBride (@cnasalvador) is building El Salvador’s sovereign aviation infrastructure. From ferrying a helicopter 3,000 miles to launching the first Bitcoin-friendly air taxi, learn how Cielo Norte Aviacion is decentralizing the skies and skipping fiat traffic jams. National sovereignty depends on more than just a digital currency because citizens remain limited by crumbling fiat infrastructure and exhausting traffic jams. In this episode, James McBride argues that freedom requires the physical infrastructure to move as fast as Bitcoin. By launching Cielo Norte Aviacion, James is betting that the future of the Salvadoran Citadel depends on decentralizing the skies to allow for a level of mobility that was previously impossible in Central America. The journey to establish this vision involved a literal trial by fire that started with a grueling international flight from Northern Ontario. James recounts the logistics of ferrying a helicopter 3,000 miles across borders while navigating the shifting regulations of multiple countries and searching for jet fuel in remote regions. This story of grit and proof of work highlights the massive physical effort required to build a new business in the Bitcoin nation and describes the immense relief he felt when the aircraft finally touched down on Salvadoran soil. As James reaches the finish line of his AAC certification, he is preparing to launch a high speed air taxi service that changes the last mile logistics of El Salvador. His fleet offers private charters that reach world class surf breaks like Punta Mango in under thirty minutes so that travelers can bypass the nightmare traffic of San Salvador. This initiative creates a functional network that connects the most remote and beautiful locations in the country to the economic heart of the city. The business expansion includes a clear roadmap for industrial and government support alongside tourism. By utilizing aerial surveying and Lidar technology, Cielo Norte facilitates mining operations and infrastructure planning with a level of precision and speed that drones cannot match. This technical edge and the future addition of fixed-wing aircraft for cargo position the company to become the backbone of Salvadoran industry and a critical pillar of the economic rebirth of the country. James also shares a behind the scenes look at his private meeting with President Bukele where he pitched the vision of making El Salvador the aviation hub of Latin America. This comprehensive family approach spanning from Bitcoin exchanges to the skies reflects a unique moment in history where entrepreneurs are actively building the world they want to live in. Whether you are a pilot interested in technical flight rules or a Bitcoiner looking for the next frontier of growth, this episode demonstrates that the sky is no longer the limit in El Salvador. —Bitcoin Beach Team Connect and Learn more about James McBride X (Company): https://x.com/cnasalvador Web: https://www.cielonorteaviacion.com/ IG: https://www.instagram.com/cielonorteaviacion/ WhatsApp (Business Line): +503 7745 8200 Support and follow Bitcoin Beach: X: https://www.twitter.com/BitcoinBeach IG: https://www.instagram.com/bitcoinbeach_sv TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@livefrombitcoinbeach Web: https://www.bitcoinbeach.com Browse through this quick guide to learn more about the episode: 00:00 Intro 01:13 Why the McBride family moved their business to El Salvador 02:48 Scaling a Canadian mining airline into a Salvadoran charter 04:12 Flying a helicopter 3,000 miles from Canada to El Salvador 06:15 How air taxis solve the San Salvador traffic nightmare 11:51 Navigating 10,000-foot mountain ranges under VFR rules 13:38 Why El Salvador’s geography is perfect for helicopters 16:02 Using Lidar aerial surveying for mining and Live From Bitcoin Beach

From Canada to El Salvador: Escaping Communism & Financial Surveillance For Bitcoin Country

George McBride (@georgemcbride_ ) and SatStreet facilitate Bitcoin OTC trading and asset management for family offices moving to El Salvador’s Bitcoin legal tender economy. Is your home country a fortress for your wealth, or is it a high-tax cage waiting to be locked by the legacy regime? George McBride from SatStreet joins the show to discuss why his family decided to exit Canada and go all-in on El Salvador. We dive into the "Flag in the Sand" moment when President Bukele declared Bitcoin as legal tender, signaling to the world that this jurisdiction is the only true sanctuary for those seeking absolute financial sovereignty. For the family office or high-net-worth Bitcoiner, the biggest hurdle to exiting the fiat system has always been the friction of legacy banking. George explains how SatStreet provides the deep liquidity and white-glove otc trading services needed to move $50k to $100M+ into the country without the typical delays. If you are looking to acquire beachfront property or shift your asset management strategy to a pro-Bitcoin jurisdiction, having a partner who understands the local banking rails is the difference between a smooth transition and a compliance nightmare. We also explore why foreign investment is currently flooding into the region, moving beyond just retail hype into institutional adoption. George breaks down how the country’s digital assets regulatory framework is outperforming the restrictive attitude of Western regulators. By building infrastructure and professionalizing the space, builders are proving that El Salvador is no longer an experiment but a global leader in capital efficiency. The conversation gets practical for those planning their own exit strategy, specifically regarding the Land Cruiser problem. While the country is a pioneer, many local sellers still operate in the dark ages and demand dollars. George details how SatStreet acts as the bridge, allowing you to use your Bitcoin for large purchases like vehicles or land while the seller receives the fiat they are accustomed to. It is the necessary bridge to hyperbitcoinization that allows you to live the lifestyle today. Finally, George shares details of his hour-long meeting with President Bukele and why the self-filtering mechanism of this country is its greatest strength. El Salvador is looking for the entrepreneurs and builders who are fed up with the status quo. If you are ready to stop being a spectator and start contributing to the most important economic shift in a generation, this episode is your roadmap for making the move. —Bitcoin Beach Team Connect and Learn more about George McBride X: https://x.com/georgemcbride_ X (SatStreet SV): https://x.com/SatstreetSV X: (SatStreet, Parent Company): https://x.com/Satstreet Web: https://www.satstreet.sv/ Support and follow Bitcoin Beach: X: https://www.twitter.com/BitcoinBeach IG: https://www.instagram.com/bitcoinbeach_sv TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@livefrombitcoinbeach Web: https://www.bitcoinbeach.com Browse through this quick guide to learn more about the episode: 00:00 Intro 01:59 How to exit Canada and move your family to El Salvador in 2026? 09:39 How does a Bitcoin OTC desk facilitate institutional liquidity for expats? 15:35 How to move large Bitcoin amounts into El Salvador banks without rejections? 19:14 Why are El Salvador’s wealthiest families finally adopting a Bitcoin standard? 22:30 Is El Salvador the world’s best investor paradise for Bitcoiners in 2026? 28:30 Can you buy a Toyota Land Cruiser with Bitcoin in El Salvador today? 31:25 How does the new Bitcoin real estate escrow work for foreign buyers? 35:04 Why is El Salvador’s DASP framework better for Bitcoin businesses than the West? 46:00 What is the insider truth about President Bukele’s Bitcoin strategy for 2026? The Brutal Price of Bitcoin Adoption In El Salvador (Inside Bukele's War on Crime) | Joe Nakamoto

Is Bukele a dictator, or is he simply executing the mandate of a population that was previously held hostage by gang violence and state corruption? Joe Nakamoto joins me to separate the propaganda from the facts surrounding the first nation to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender. We examine the on-the-ground truth of what happens when a nation opts out of the broken fiat system and bets on a sovereign future. Moving beyond the headlines, we break down what a functional circular economy looks like. From El Zonte to Livingstone, Zambia, the goal is radical independence, building economic growth from the bottom up. We explore how merchants, farmers, and tourists are keeping value within their own communities instead of leaking it to centralized intermediaries, creating tangible wealth where credit cards and banks were never an option. The conversation inevitably turns to President Bukele and the tension between safety and state power. It is a complex situation that forces us to reconcile our comfortable Western ideals of governance with the raw, utilitarian needs of a developing nation that is finally feeling secure for the first time in generations. We also pull no punches on the surveillance state. With the rise of strict KYC requirements, the core promise of decentralization is under constant threat. Joe and I discuss why Bitcoin companies have a moral obligation to push back against regulatory capture. Relying on peer-to-peer solutions is the only way to avoid the trap of a segmented, compliant financial system that destroys the privacy that makes Bitcoin valuable in the first place. Finally, we talk about the mental leap required to fully embrace this change. The lightning network has made fast and cheap transactions possible, but the transformation happens in the mind. We discuss the difficult process of unlearning fiat habits and training ourselves to price our labor, our time, and our future in satoshis. If you are ready to stop watching the tickers and start participating in the revolution, this conversation is for you. Subscribe for more, share this with a friend, and let us know if you would move to El Zonte. —Bitcoin Beach Team Connect and Learn more about Joe Nakamoto: X: https://x.com/JoeNakamoto IG: https://www.instagram.com/joenakamoto_ Nostr: https://primal.net/joenakamoto YT: @JoeNakamoto Support and follow Bitcoin Beach: X: https://www.twitter.com/BitcoinBeach IG: https://www.instagram.com/bitcoinbeach_sv TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@livefrombitcoinbeach Web: https://www.bitcoinbeach.com Browse through this quick guide to learn more about the episode: 00:00 Intro 02:54 What are the requirements for a successful Bitcoin circular economy? 05:54 Why documenting the El Salvador Bitcoin rollout is essential for history. 10:18 What events would actually invalidate the Bitcoin investment thesis? 16:06 How to protect Bitcoin privacy against 2026 KYC and AML regulations. 21:16 Will a de minimis tax rule make Bitcoin legal tender in the US? 32:56 Is El Salvador safe for Bitcoin tourists after the gang crackdown? 43:58 Is President Bukele a dictator or a sovereign Bitcoin leader? 1:01:02 How the Zambia Bitcoin circular economy provides a global blueprint. 1:13:26 Why is transitioning to a Satoshi Standard harder than buying Bitcoin? Why Every Christian Needs to Understand Bitcoin (Biblical Stewardship & The Ethics of Money) | Jordan Bush & Ahshuwah Hawthorne of Thank God For Bitcoin Media

Are central banks stealing your soul? In this show we explore why fiat debasement is a moral crisis and why Biblical stewardship now requires Bitcoin. We dive deep into the ethics of money production, the "hidden theology" of the Bitcoin blockchain, and why the global Church is ditching the dollar to reclaim financial sovereignty. The modern church often ignores the financial rot that weakens its influence. Most organizations function within a reactive cycle. Effective Christian leaders now recognize that ignoring the collapsing financial landscape constitutes negligence. We explore the intersection of faith and finance to understand why so many NGOs admit that their global mission suffers under current funding systems. We analyze the inevitable consequences of currency debasement and discuss why apathy is no longer an option for responsible leaders. Jordan Bush (@jmbushwrites) and Ahshuwah Hawthorne (@iAhsh) demonstrate how engineering rigor changes how ministry funds move across borders. They explain the function of their innovation lab where Bitcoin developers and ministry heads collaborate on building new solutions. They equip those on the front lines with the tools necessary to survive when the centralized banking system denies them access. We have accepted managed decline as the natural order of things. We discuss why Bitcoin functions as sound money that restores a moral framework to our economy. This conversation serves as a necessary check for anyone who wants to understand how incentives dictate human behavior and societal outcomes. Growing organizations often abandon the for-profit model as momentum builds. Restructuring as a non-profit arm of Brilliance Labs allows these groups to shift their focus from quarterly returns to long-term global impact. This move creates a foundation that enables ministries to hold value and sustain operations without fear of censorship or institutional overreach. The religious establishment frequently dismisses Bitcoin despite its role as a vital asset for our time. These digital assets create a bridge for people to re-examine their values, low time preference, and legacy. This episode serves as a guide for those who believe the traditional financial world requires correction. Join us as we explore the future of stewardship. —Bitcoin Beach Team Connect and Learn more about Thank God for Bitcoin: Jordan Bush X: https://x.com/jordanbush Ahshuwah Hawthorne X: https://x.com/iAhsh TGFB X: https://x.com/ThankGodforBTC Brilliance Labs Web: https://brilliancelabs.org/ Web: https://tgfb.com/ IG: https://www.instagram.com/thankgodforbitcoin/ YT: @thankgodforbitcoin Support and follow Bitcoin Beach: X: https://www.twitter.com/BitcoinBeach IG: https://www.instagram.com/bitcoinbeach_sv TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@livefrombitcoinbeach Web: https://www.bitcoinbeach.com Browse through this quick guide to learn more about the episode: 00:00 — Intro 01:59 — Thank God For Bitcoin is essential for fighting fiat values. 13:29 — Missionaries are the perfect leverage for Bitcoin adoption. 16:09 — El Salvador proved the power of local Bitcoin economies. 25:41 — We transitioned our Bitcoin project to a non-profit model. 33:00 — Curated design labs destroy generic Bitcoin conferences. 35:59 — We used Bitcoin design labs to orange-pill an Archbishop. 43:13 — The Bitcoin rabbit hole forces a return to objective faith. 51:43 — Bitcoin protocol incentives naturally enforce objective truth. 56:13 — Christian NGOs are securing treasuries with Bitcoin adoption. The New Bitcoin Standard Is Here (And No One Is Talking About It) | Rod Roudi, Jack Lesser and Andrew Davis of Bitcoin Park

Is your body a fiat liability? Proof of Work is a biological law that your private keys cannot fix. We examine why the ultimate 2026 luxury is a total Digital Detox and the physical sovereignty found in a Bitcoin Citadel. Is it possible to be a sovereign individual if your body is a product of the fiat food system and your mind is enslaved by a dopamine loop? This episode destroys the myth that Bitcoin is merely a line on a chart. We argue that proof of work is a universal law for your physical, mental, and financial existence. The Bitcoin Park (@bitcoinpark_) crew joins us at Bitcoin Beach to explain how to achieve a digital detox and reclaim your humanity. Rod Roudi shares the grit required to scale a grassroots movement into a premier physical fortress. By securing an off-market facility, they created a high-signal sanctuary for those exiting the legacy system. We discuss their membership model and why physical citadels are essential for the deep collaboration needed to survive the coming decade. Jack Lesser introduces a framework for three wellness pillars: spiritual, physical, and financial health. We delve into the mind-body connection and why a low-time-preference life requires discipline to maintain your own human hardware through movement and presence. Walking barefoot on a beach while ignoring the noise of the internet will soon be the rarest luxury on earth. We analyze Austrian economics in El Salvador. Seeing a circular economy in action, where teenagers build local businesses on a Bitcoin standard, provides a humbling check for the West. This is a functioning alternative to the broken financial system that solves problems for the unbanked and marginalized. We wrap with the convergence of freedom tech, AI, and energy. As these collide, censorship-resistant infrastructure becomes a matter of survival. Through nuclear energy mining or Nostr, we are building tools for a future that favors the individual over the institution. —Bitcoin Beach Team Connect and Learn more about Bitcoin Park: X: https://x.com/bitcoinpark_ Apple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/bitcoin-park/id1646515985 Web: https://bitcoinpark.com/ YT: https://www.youtube.com/@BitcoinPark1 Support and follow Bitcoin Beach: X: https://www.twitter.com/BitcoinBeach IG: https://www.instagram.com/bitcoinbeach_sv TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@livefrombitcoinbeach Web: https://www.bitcoinbeach.com Browse through this quick guide to learn more about the episode: 00:00 Intro 01:32 How did the Bitcoin Park crew build a physical fortress in Nashville? 06:30 How to start a Bitcoin meetup that scales into a physical space? 08:45 How to find off-market real estate for a Bitcoin community? 10:34 How to create a membership model for a Bitcoin third space? 12:45 Why is Austrian economics being ignored in modern financial education? 21:33 Why are in-person Bitcoin meetups a force multiplier for sovereignty? 27:16 What is the difference between a co-working space and a Bitcoin citadel? 43:47 Why is the American Dream moving to the El Salvador circular economy? 54:40 How to achieve a total digital detox and freedom from technology?
