Farmer Joel Salatin and Dr. Sina McCullough break down the Florida "Gag Law" (HB 433/SB 290), that could leave citizens and activists vulnerable to lawsuits for criticizing anything from sugar production to pesticide use. Meanwhile Florida’s Health Department reported 60% of candy tested contained dangerous arsenic levels.

Joel also weighs in on California’s new alliance with the World Health Organization, a first-of-its-kind state-level partnership that raises critical questions about regional vs. global governance.

Finally, they look to Maine’s "Right to Food" constitutional amendment.  While a victory for food sovereignty, Joel explains its hidden shortcomings and what other states must do to ensure these rights actually have teeth.
