Ep 9 - Do I Need an ADHD or Autism Diagnosis? Self-Identification, Doubt and formal Diagnosis
The journey to ADHD and/or Autism diagnosis can be filled with uncertainty, self-doubt, and difficult questions. But what if you didn’t have to wait for a diagnosis to start understanding, supporting, and trusting yourself? We bring two different perspectives to the conversation: one of us has already received a diagnosis, while the other is currently navigating the journey towards one. In this episode, we’re exploring the questions that often get overlooked: What does it really mean to want or need a diagnosis? What are you hoping a diagnosis will change? And how do you navigate self-discovery when you don’t yet have a clear answer? Because understanding yourself doesn’t have to begin with a label. You can start listening to yourself, making sense of your experiences, and treating yourself with compassion right now. As always, this episode reflects our personal experiences and reflections as neurodivergent women. It is not intended as medical, psychological or diagnostic advice. We’re glad you’re here. Let’s explore this together. See the following link to our Conversation Notes https://between-us-eth7gg.subscribepage.io Follow us on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/betweenus.conversations/
