Rubs eyes. Oh man... where am I? I thought today was sept 9th! Its the day Lennon released this album. This has one of my favorite parody songs and a lot of jokes about women I love making love to people who aren't me. This episode made me laugh made me what to go to Vegas. We get the origins of East St. Paul, and the origins of Aaron's weird relationship with his car dealer. The bleeped joke was "loose slots" I hated that I remembered that.

Outkast: Speakerboxx/The Love Below (2003) ep. 290

Listen. This is a great album and all. There is some funny stuff here in the middle and at the end but mainly, we get to hear a record buying list from Aaron and it is exactly what you think it would be. We talk breweries, the importanance of visiting friends, how Rob is dealing with his Cpap. Then we give some more showering tips and do a list that Russell does NOT like. The Modern Lovers: The Modern Lovers (1976) ep. 288

FROM ROLLING STONE: Jonathan Richman moved from Boston to New York as a teenager in hopes of sleeping on Lou Reed’s couch. That influence shows on the two-chord anthem “Roadrunner.” Recorded in 1972 but not released until 1976, Lovers turned the tough sounds of the Velvets into an ode to suburban romanticism. “Rock & roll was about stuff that was natural,” Richman said. “I wasn’t about drugs and space.” Songs like “Pablo Picasso,” “Girl Friend,” and “Dignified and Old” touched generations of punk and indie-rock innocents. We are still in schedulepocalypse, and I am going to Italy soon, so we will call this a planned vacation that we knew was coming. June 30th, 1984, Bruce Springsteen hit his highest chart number ever with "Dancing in the Dark" hitting number 2 (When Doves Cry.) Today we become the best Harry Schilsson podcast even if we really like his son! We love this album like any kid loves cake. We start this episode by giving Aaron a choice of a lifetime and then move on to talk about the point of sports, songs that seems old as hell, massage issues and the heartbreak of defeat.
