settle in 适应新环境的建议 when I was in primary school 我上小学的时候 I thought that secondary school was gonna be 本来以为初中会 absolute mania 特别混乱 I thought there was gonna be tons of homework 我以为会有超多作业 tons of stuff to do and there was an area 好多事要做，根本 enough time to do it all 没时间做完 when I actually reached secondary school 等我真上了初中才发现 I realized that if you manage your time well 只要合理安排时间 that there's no problem with it 完全没问题 before I thought year 7 was 我之前以为7年级会 boring and I think it's very fun 很无聊，结果特别有意思 coming from a place that isn't in the area 我之前不住在这一片 I didn't know anyone but 本来一个人都不认识，但 everyone was so welcoming and lovely 大家都特别热情友好 and I made lots of friends 我很快就交到了 straight away 好多朋友 the coolest thing is definitely 最棒的肯定是 the amount of trips we have to many 我们有超多校外活动，可以去 different areas you get to explore 很多不同的地方探索 here's 7 7年级还有个好处 it's fun because you can make worlds 很好玩，你可以和 your friends like the inclusive activity because 朋友一起参加各种包容性活动，因为 there's lots of clubs that vary 学校有各种各样的社团 around the whole school from like different years 面向所有年级开放 I like that we have all the different lessons 我喜欢现在有不同的课程 so before you only had just science 之前只有笼统的科学课 now you have physics chemistry biology 现在分了物理、化学、生物 I'm in the football basketball and cricket team 我加入了足球、篮球和板球队 and it's really fun 特别有意思 and all the opportunities are amazing 所有的机会都很棒 year 7 is really fun 7年级真的很好玩 I think that we have both more freedoms now 我觉得我们现在自由多了 because we're in secondary 因为我们上初中了 school because teachers trust us more 学校里老师更信任我们 my top tips would probably be to be yourself 我最重要的建议就是做你自己 don't change yourself to be like someone else 别为了模仿别人改变自己 just to fit in 就为了融入集体 don't try it at cool or anything 别硬装酷什么的 it's just being yourself is important 做自己才是最重要的 if you're stuck with a problem 如果你遇到难题了 always ask the teacher for help 一定要找老师帮忙 getting your bag ready the night before 前一天晚上收拾好书包 and doing everything that you need 把该做的事都做完 the night before really helps 前一晚准备好很有用 go get someone 去找人来 thanks for that
