Session 1A: Introduction and Valuation Themes
transcript
show notes
In this session (first half of morning session, day 1), I provide a rationale for why I do valuation and then list out the broad themes in valuation: that it is a craft, that valuing ≠ pricing, that a good valuation is a melding of story and numbers and that acting on valuation requires faith. I also listed out some common misconceptions about valuation.
