#548 - All About AGL: Amazon Global Logistics

Discover how Amazon Global Logistics could simplify your supply chain, reduce surprise fees, speed up FBA inventory, and change how you ship products globally. Getting inventory from your factory into Amazon FBA can be one of the most complicated parts of running an ecommerce business. Between freight forwarders, customs, placement options, unexpected fees, and changing transit times, sellers have plenty of decisions to make. In this episode, Bradley Sutton sits down with Alex Berry, who leads Amazon Global Logistics (AGL), to break down how the program works and where it fits into an Amazon seller's supply chain. Alex explains how AGL differs from traditional freight forwarding, including Amazon Managed Placement and Seller Managed Placement. Sellers can choose between different approaches for getting inventory distributed across Amazon's five US regions, while AGL also offers air, standard ocean, and fast ocean shipping options. The conversation also tackles Incoterms such as FOB and DDP, Amazon Customs and Trade (ACT), payment options, and one of the biggest headaches in international freight: unexpected fees. Unlike the common "Bill One, Bill Two" model Alex describes in the freight industry, he says AGL provides the price upfront without a second bill filled with additional charges such as detention, demurrage, or driver wait times. But AGL is continuing to expand. Alex shares updates on dangerous goods support, including electronics with batteries and upcoming lithium-ion battery capabilities, as Amazon works toward supporting more than 99% of ASINs by mid-2027. He also discusses faster routes into the eastern US, premium ocean service into Europe, expanding international shipping lanes, contract pricing for qualifying sellers, and plans that could eventually allow sellers to use AGL to ship directly to non-Amazon destinations such as their own warehouses and 3PLs. Ready to explore Amazon Global Logistics? Visit http://h10.me/agl to learn more, start the onboarding process, and get approximately 8% off your first AGL shipment as a first-time user. Helium 10 Elite members: Keep an eye on your inbox for a separate AGL link specifically for Elite members. Whether you're already using a freight forwarder or simply looking for more options, this episode offers a closer look at what Amazon is building on the logistics side of the business. The biggest lesson isn't necessarily that every seller should switch to AGL—it's that sellers should understand their true landed costs, shipping speed, placement strategy, and supply chain options before deciding what works best. The more efficiently you can get inventory where customers need it, the better positioned your business is to stay in stock, protect margins, and keep growing. In episode 548 of the AM/PM Podcast, Bradley and Alex discuss: 00:00 - Introduction 00:38 - Everything You Need To Know About AGL 03:11 - Inside Amazon Global Logistics 07:26 - AGL Vs. What if you could uncover keyword indexing problems, research entire Amazon niches with AI, monitor sales across marketplaces, and find new advertising opportunities in a fraction of the time? In this episode, Bradley Sutton breaks down 10 new Helium 10 tools and strategies, plus 2 bonuses, built to help Amazon, TikTok Shop, and Walmart sellers make faster, more informed decisions. The episode dives heavily into new Helium 10 MCP capabilities, including Black Box Niche research, historical price, BSR, review, and search volume data, Index Checker, Product Targeting, and competitor research. Bradley demonstrates how these tools can work together with Claude to uncover niche opportunities, analyze competitors, identify keyword gaps, and find potential product targets without jumping manually between multiple reports. There are also updates designed to improve everyday operations. #544 - The Amazon Metric Most Sellers Aren’t Tracking

What if one overlooked Amazon metric is quietly costing you sales? Discover how keyword tracking, rank data, and smarter PPC decisions can uncover hidden revenue and stop wasted ad spend. Amazon sellers spend countless hours researching products, optimizing listings, and managing PPC, but one important metric can easily get overlooked: keyword rank. In this episode, Bradley Sutton breaks down why tracking where your products appear for important search terms can reveal whether your advertising is actually helping your business grow or simply burning through your budget. Even with the rise of AI-powered shopping experiences, keywords remain a major part of how customers discover products on Amazon. Bradley uses real account data, Search Query Performance, and Helium 10 MCP inside Claude to show just how much revenue individual keywords can generate. In one example, a single keyword accounted for thousands of dollars in sales, while hundreds of different search terms contributed purchases to the same product. But finding keywords is only the beginning. Bradley explains how sellers can monitor sponsored and organic rank, identify keyword opportunities competitors are already winning, track relative rank, and automatically discover new search terms worth watching. He also shows how keyword data can inform PPC decisions, including when to raise bids, lower them, pause campaigns, or restart advertising when organic rankings begin to fall. The biggest opportunity comes from turning that data into action. Instead of manually checking dozens of keywords and adjusting bids throughout the day, sellers can connect keyword tracking with advertising rules to dramatically reduce repetitive work. The takeaway is clear: understand which keywords are actually driving your business, track how your rankings change, and use that information to spend smarter. Small improvements across the right keywords can add up to significant sales while helping prevent thousands of dollars in wasted advertising. In episode 544 of the AM/PM Podcast, Bradley discusses: 00:00 - Introduction 01:30 - The Amazon Metric Most Sellers Overlook 03:00 - How Much Amazon Revenue Comes From Keywords? 07:59 - Why Page One Ranking Matters 08:04 - Using Title Density To Find Ranking Opportunities 13:04 - Is Your PPC Actually Improving Organic Rank? 15:17 - Tracking Sponsored And Organic Keyword Rank 21:34 - How One Keyword Generated Thousands In Sales 22:34 - 333 Keywords Driving Purchases 23:34 - Finding Competitor Keyword Opportunities 27:48 - Tracking Your Rank Against Competitors 28:45 - Automatically Finding New Keywords 30:50 - Automating PPC Bid Changes With Keyword Rank 34:40 - Amazon Keyword Strategy Q&A 36:12 - How Many Keywords Should You Track? 38:29 - How To Choose The Right Competitors

#542 - Ultimate Guide To The New Helium 10 MCP

What if Amazon sellers could turn Helium 10 data into instant AI reports? Learn about MCP workflows for keyword research, PPC, competitor analysis, listings, and faster decisions. Amazon sellers have access to enormous amounts of valuable data, but turning that information into clear decisions can take hours of filtering, exporting, and spreadsheet work. In this episode, Carrie Miller, Bradley Sutton, Jason McLellan, and Vincent Lan demonstrate how the new Helium 10 MCP connects Amazon data with AI platforms such as Claude and ChatGPT, allowing sellers to analyze their businesses through simple, conversational prompts. The episode explores practical workflows for Amazon competitor research, keyword ranking, PPC optimization, product research, and listing improvement. Sellers can compare a competitor’s strongest and weakest sales months, identify the keyword-ranking changes that may have influenced performance, uncover valuable keywords they are not tracking, and connect changes in page traffic with historical keyword movement. The Helium 10 MCP can also combine information from Cerebro, Black Box, Search Query Performance, Profits, Keyword Tracker, Brand Analytics, and Helium 10 Ads into one customized report. Carrie shares how her listing analysis skill compares a product with its competitors, identifies keyword gaps, evaluates listing quality, and prioritizes search terms that may be close enough to page one for a strategic PPC push. Jason reveals how his agency combines Product Opportunity Explorer data with Helium 10 insights to create detailed market intelligence reports, while Vincent explains how he centralizes weekly performance data to understand how changes to pricing, images, rankings, and advertising affect the entire business. The real power of the Helium 10 MCP is not simply having more data—it is being able to ask better questions and receive an actionable plan in minutes. Sellers who learn how to build effective prompts and reusable AI skills can replace hours of repetitive analysis with faster, smarter decisions. The tools are evolving quickly, but the sellers who begin experimenting now may gain an important advantage in how they research, optimize, and grow their Amazon businesses. #540 - Amazon Title Changes Are Coming: What Sellers Must Do

Amazon title limits are changing. Learn how to protect your most important keywords, update listings faster, and keep Amazon’s AI from making costly changes to your product titles. Amazon is introducing a major product title update beginning July 27, and sellers need to understand what is changing before Amazon’s AI starts rewriting their listings. Most product titles will be limited to 75 characters, while an additional 125 characters can be placed in a new Item Highlights field. Although Amazon says the split should not affect indexing, advertising relevance, or searchability, sellers should still carefully review which keywords remain in their titles and how important phrases are structured. In this episode, Bradley Sutton explains why the first 75 characters still matter for Amazon SEO and how sellers should prioritize their brand name, main product keyword, and key distinguishing features such as size, color, or quantity. He also demonstrates how to preview Amazon’s proposed AI changes inside Seller Central. While Amazon’s recommendations may preserve most listing content, even a small wording change can remove an important exact keyword phrase and potentially weaken a product’s relevancy signal. For sellers managing hundreds or thousands of listings, manually reviewing every title is not practical. That is where Helium 10’s new Bulk Optimize Titles feature inside Listing Builder becomes especially valuable. Diamond Plan members can select multiple active listings, generate AI-recommended titles and Item Highlights, review the suggestions from one screen, and sync the optimized content directly to Amazon. The tool is designed to preserve valuable keyword phrases while keeping listings compliant with Amazon’s new character limits. Amazon’s update does not need to become a last-minute emergency. Review your titles, protect your most valuable search terms, and use the right tools to update your catalog efficiently. Sellers who want access to Bulk Optimize Titles can use coupon code SSP20 to save 20% on the Helium 10 Diamond Plan for six months. Do not wait for Amazon’s AI to decide how your products should be presented. Take control of your listings before the changes take effect. In episode 540 of the AM/PM Podcast, Bradley talks about: 00:00 - Introduction 00:49 - The July 27 Amazon Title Requirements 01:14 - How Titles And Item Highlights Will Be Split 03:00 - Why Product Titles Matter For Amazon SEO 04:30 - What To Include In The First 75 Characters 05:00 - Previewing Amazon’s AI Title Changes 07:22 - How Amazon’s AI Can Remove Important Keywords 09:19 - The 14-Day Review And Approval Period 10:42 - Helium 10’s New Bulk Optimize Titles Feature 11:55 - Amazon AI Versus Helium 10’s Recommendations 12:50 - Syncing Optimized Titles Directly To Amazon 13:55 - Save 20% On The Diamond Plan With This Discount Code 15:39 - Creating New Listings Under The Updated Format 17:42 - Final Title Optimization Checklist

#538 - Fix These Amazon PPC Mistakes Before Q4

Most sellers waste ad spend without realizing why. Discover the Amazon PPC strategies, budget shifts, and Amazon Ads features that could make your campaigns more profitable. Amazon PPC can quickly become overwhelming. Sellers are constantly choosing between more keywords, more products, higher bids, new ad formats, and increasingly complex targeting options. But according to Paige Plevyak, Senior Retail Media Manager at Pacvue, better advertising does not begin with more tactics. It begins with a stronger foundation. In this episode of the AM/PM Podcast, host Carrie Miller and Paige break down some of the biggest advertising mistakes sellers make, including spreading budgets across too many keywords and ASINs, adjusting bids too frequently, and launching campaigns without a clearly defined goal. Paige explains why sellers with limited budgets should often concentrate on five to ten priority keywords, focus spending on hero products, and use long-tail search terms to build momentum in competitive categories. The conversation also explores when sellers should use Sponsored Products versus Sponsored Brands video, how Amazon Marketing Cloud audiences can improve targeting, and which newer Amazon advertising features may be worth testing. Paige also shares practical advice for recovering after a long stockout, increasing keyword impression share, managing product variations, and deciding when to prioritize immediate profitability over broader visibility. The biggest takeaway is that strong PPC performance rarely comes from constantly chasing the newest feature. It comes from understanding your goals, focusing your resources, and giving your campaigns enough time and data to work. Build the right foundation first, and every optimization you make afterward becomes more intentional, measurable, and scalable. #537 - Helium 10's New MCP, Keyword Searches NOT Dead, & TikTok Bans AI | Weekly Buzz 7/16/26

Helium 10 releases a super-powerful MCP that will revolutionize the way you manage your Amazon accounts. New data shows that AI and Alexa for shopping have not decreased the number of people using the Amazon search bar to enter keywords. We’re back with another episode of the Weekly Buzz with Helium 10’s VP of Education and Strategy, Bradley Sutton. Every week, we cover the latest breaking news in the Amazon, TikTok Shop, Walmart, and E-commerce space, talk about Helium 10’s newest features, and provide a training tip for the week for serious sellers of any level. Helium 10’s new MCP is changing the way Amazon sellers research, analyze, and take action on marketplace data by connecting Helium 10 directly with AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT. Now available to Diamond and above users, the Helium 10 MCP lets sellers ask natural-language questions and instantly pull insights from tools like Black Box, Cerebro, Brand Analytics, Keyword Tracker, and Helium 10 Ads, without manually downloading reports or switching between multiple dashboards. In this episode, Bradley Sutton shows how sellers can uncover product opportunities, analyze competitor keyword rankings, review historical Brand Analytics and Cerebro data, and build smarter advertising strategies in minutes instead of hours. Bradley Sutton breaks down a new Helium 10 research study analyzing whether Rufus, now Alexa for shopping, has significantly changed how shoppers search for products on Amazon. Despite the growing conversation around AI replacing traditional keyword search, the data shows that Amazon search volume, clicks, and conversion behavior have remained largely consistent from 2024 through 2026, with no major shift away from keyword-based shopping. While Alexa for shopping may be useful for product discovery when shoppers are unsure what they want, Bradley explains that most buyers still use the search bar when they already know what they are looking for, making keyword research and listing optimization just as important as ever. The key takeaway: sellers should not ignore Rufus/Alexa for Shopping optimization, especially for listing questions and product-page interactions, but traditional keywords are far from dead. #535 - The Repeat Purchase Strategy That Built A $20M Brand

What separates short-term Amazon sales from long-term brand growth? Learn the repeat purchase strategy behind a $20M brand and how sellers can use it. In this episode of the AM/PM Podcast, host Carrie Miller welcomes Jason McLellan of Prime Team Agency to break down the customer retention strategy behind VitaCup’s growth into a $20 million Amazon and omnichannel brand. Jason shares how Amazon started as VitaCup’s smallest sales channel at around $2 million, then became a major driver of the business by using a different way of thinking: focusing less on cheap customer acquisition and more on which products created loyal, repeat buyers. Jason explains how the VitaCup team used cohort data and product repeat rates to understand which ASINs were truly worth investing in. Some products looked like winners because they had low CPCs, strong conversions, and high demand, but the data showed that customers were not coming back. Meanwhile, products like Genius Coffee were more expensive to advertise, but they attracted customers who were more likely to repurchase, move into Subscribe & Save, and increase lifetime value. Carrie and Jason also discuss how sellers can apply this thinking beyond consumables. Whether you sell supplements, food and beverage, lifestyle products, starter kits, or products with replenishable components, the key is understanding how one purchase can lead to the next. Jason shares practical strategies around Subscribe & Save coupons, AMC audiences, DSP retargeting, cross-selling, virtual bundles, multi-packs, listing optimization, and using tools like Helium 10 to make smarter decisions. The biggest takeaway from this episode is that real Amazon growth is not just about chasing more sales; it is about building a business that customers keep coming back to. When sellers understand their repeat purchase data, they can stop wasting ad dollars on short-term wins and start building a brand with predictable revenue, stronger customer relationships, and long-term profitability. The brands that win are not always the ones that acquire the cheapest customer, but the ones that acquire the right customer and give them a reason to stay. #532 - Amazon Image and Listing Strategies

Could one image change unlock more clicks and sales? Learn how Amazon sellers are using AI, split testing, and shopper feedback to stop guessing. What if the biggest improvement to your Amazon listing was not a new product, a lower price, or a bigger ad budget, but a better creative decision? In this episode of the AM/PM Podcast, Bradley Sutton sits down with Daniela Bolzmann of Mindful Goods, Justin Chen of PickFu, and Kamaljit Singh of AMZ One Step to break down how Amazon sellers can use AI, split testing, and real shopper feedback to build listing images that convert. The conversation dives into where AI fits into the creative process and where human judgment still matters. Kamal shares how AI can help generate image concepts, analyze competitors, and speed up the creative workflow, while still needing real product photography and design polish for products with small details. Daniela emphasizes that great creative starts with data, not guessing, and that brands should use AI as a tool for smarter iteration rather than a replacement for strategy. The panel also breaks down why split testing is no longer optional for serious Amazon sellers. Justin explains how sellers can test main images, secondary images, videos, and even competitor comparisons before making changes live on Amazon. Instead of risking sales with untested creative, sellers can use feedback from real shoppers to understand what actually drives clicks, builds trust, and helps products stand out in crowded search results. From storefront optimization to A+ Content, Rufus/Alexa readiness, video testing, and AI-generated ads, this episode is packed with practical ways to make smarter creative decisions. The inspiring lesson is simple: the sellers who grow are not always the ones with the biggest budgets, but the ones willing to test, learn, and improve. When you combine data, creativity, AI, and customer feedback, every listing becomes an opportunity to build something stronger. The episode starts with advanced Amazon advertising strategies, including how to automatically adjust bids based on keyword rank and how sellers can use historical Brand Analytics data to see which products consistently won clicks and purchases for important keywords. These strategies can help sellers protect ranking, improve targeting, and better understand who their real competitors are over time.
