Every week, Professor Zaga and Professor Nick turn absurdly specific parts of adulthood into completely unnecessary college courses taught with far too much confidence.

Expect real stories, ridiculous lessons, faculty arguments, questionable theories, bad advice, and two professors who are still very much Adulthood Pending.

The Teachers' Lounge: New York Comic Con Broke Us | Part 3 | ADHP S2E17

🗳️ VOTE FOR ZAGA — TOP HOST 2026 https://tophost.org/2026/anthony-arzaga Short Story Long...... How do you finish a completely reasonable vacation? Apparently by going to New York Comic Con, spending too much money on mystery boxes, eating a milkshake with an entire slice of cake on top, getting yelled at in a bagel shop, witnessing absolute chaos at Jollibee and limping through New York City until your body finally gives up. Professor Zaga and Professor Nick are back in the Teachers’ Lounge for the final chapter of Nick’s trip. After surviving Salem and Nick’s first day in New York City, we finally hit one of the biggest reasons for the trip: New York Comic Con. And by this point, everybody is exhausted. Three episodes. Salem. New York City. Comic-Con. Approximately 30+ miles of walking. Way too much food. And somehow everybody survived. The biggest takeaway from this entire trip? Live in the moment. Order the steak. Order the ridiculous milkshake. Take the trip. See your people. Because six years is way too long to wait. Next week, class is officially back in session. Welcome to ADHP University. The Teachers' Lounge: Nick's First Day in NYC Was Chaos | Part 2 | ADHP S2E16

🗳️ VOTE FOR ZAGA — TOP HOST 2026 https://tophost.org/2026/anthony-arzaga Short Story Long...... What happens after you survive Salem in October? Apparently you fake a marriage proposal, scream karaoke on the ride home, sleep for a few hours and immediately drag everybody to New York City. Professor Zaga and Professor Nick are still in the Teachers’ Lounge for Part 2 of Nick’s trip to New England, picking up exactly where Episode 15 ended. Nick and Juliana have finally emerged from their suspiciously successful Salem “date,” Copper has apparently decided subtlety is beneath him, and Zaga still has one last piece of unfinished business before everybody leaves Salem. Then the trip moves to New York. For Nick, it’s his first time experiencing New York City in person, which means Grand Central, Times Square, New York pizza, the World Trade Center memorial, the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, McSorley’s, rooftop dining and approximately enough walking to destroy what little energy the faculty had left. Next week, we wrap up the vacation story before class officially goes back into session. Welcome to ADHP University. RUNNING ON 30%. The Teachers' Lounge: Salem Had Other Plans | Part 1 | ADHP S2E15

🗳️ VOTE FOR ZAGA — TOP HOST 2026 https://tophost.org/2026/anthony-arzaga Short Story Long...... What happens when two podcast hosts finally record together in person after six years... and then immediately try to survive a trip to Salem in October? Professor Zaga and Professor Nick are finally in the same room for the first in-person ADHP episode in six years, and class is officially canceled. Welcome to the Teachers’ Lounge. Nick has made the trip from Oklahoma to New England, and what was supposed to be a carefully planned weekend quickly becomes food, friends, traffic, missed reservations, questionable decisions, relentless bullying and the beginning of a Salem story that absolutely does not fit into one episode. We get into: • Nick’s flight nearly becoming a Final Destination situation • His first night in Connecticut with Zaga and Ellie • Zaga finally getting an honest review of his cooking • Meeting Juliana in person • The group getting stuck in traffic for two hours to move four miles • Zaga turning into Ricky Bobby trying to save the Salem itinerary • Missing the Warren Museum after the parking garage fills up at the worst possible moment • Exploring Salem, Blackcraft and the Salem Witch Museum • Copper showing up with newly dyed blond/orange hair and immediately regretting it • The entire group discovering new reasons to bully Nick • Windsor’s custom LEGO versions of the faculty • Zaga becoming an unauthorized Salem paparazzo • The beer garden that finally saves everybody’s mood • Nick and Juliana accidentally getting sent on a date • Zaga and Copper spying on that date from a distance • Guinness, tomatoes and an increasingly suspicious amount of chemistry And just when the rest of the group thinks the night is winding down, Nick and Juliana finally walk out of the restaurant together. That story continues next episode. Welcome to ADHP University. RUNNING ON 30%. Full Frontal Nerdity 301: When Your Hobby Becomes Your Entire Personality

Short Story Long...... At what point does “I like this” become “apparently this is who I am now”? Professor Zaga, Professor Nick, and Dr. Copper are taking Full Frontal Nerdity 301, where the lesson is simple: how do you stop hiding the thing you love without becoming the person everybody regrets asking about it? This class gets into hyper fixations, fandoms, cosplay, ridiculously expensive collectibles, deep-dive research, conventions, tattoos, gaming, wrestling, Marvel, Warhammer, Star Wars, record collecting and the exact moment somebody probably needs to take away your credit card. We get into: • The things we absolutely cannot talk about like normal people • When a casual interest becomes a full-blown obsession • Zaga’s $600 WWE championship belt • Copper’s Titanfall 2 collector’s helmet and gaming collection • Nick’s Deadpool cosplay and Kingdom Hearts obsession • What actually makes somebody a nerd • The official nerd scale: Casual → Fan → Nerd → Full Frontal → TAKE AWAY THE CREDIT CARD • Mac Miller records and Zaga discovering another expensive hobby • The weird subjects each of us knows way too much about • Student Body answers about their own Full Frontal Nerdity Zaga also talks about seeing Filipino culture and folklore represented on the big screen, Copper gets punished for showing up late, and the faculty somehow spends an unreasonable amount of time finding new names for Dr. Copper. The Irish Goodbye: How to Escape the 45-Minute Goodbye | ADHP S2E13

Your social battery hit zero. Unfortunately, somebody just said “before you go…” and now apparently you live here. ADHP University is officially in session, and our first online class is Irish Goodbye 102: how to leave a party without accidentally unlocking another 45-minute event. Professor Nick considers himself something of an Irish-goodbye surgeon. Professor Zaga has questions. Together, we're breaking down why announcing “I'm leaving” somehow restarts the entire night, the traps waiting between you and the front door, and how to disappear from a party without creating an international incident. We also somehow get into: Nick explaining why the entire point of an Irish goodbye is NOT announcing it. Coat check, “before you go…,” family guilt, partners who won't stop talking and every other obstacle standing between you and freedom. The fake-phone-call escape strategy. Why “I'm about to shit my pants” has apparently become advanced ADHP coursework. Why escaping a Filipino family goodbye requires significantly more planning. Leaving your ride behind because they ignored the agreed-upon departure time. Why “one more drink” may be the most dangerous sentence at a party. The different Irish-goodbye personalities: The Nicky, The Midwestern, The Copper Out, The Zaga, The Magician and more. Whether you can disappear from weddings, birthday dinners, work happy hours, first dates and somebody else's house. Why “I'm tired” and “I'm overstimulated” are complete explanations. And the official rules of the perfect exit: Have a plan. Don't be messy. Stop asking permission to leave. Professor Zaga. Professor Nick. One exit door. Let's see if the Student Body actually makes it out. Running on 30%. Still showing up. We Started a University and Somehow We're Professors | ADHP S2E12

Short story long... somehow we're professors now. ADHP University is officially opening its doors, which feels completely responsible considering one of us never went to college and the other dropped out twice. This week, Zaga and Nick have one last Faculty Lounge session before classes officially take over ADHP. We're figuring out exactly how an unaccredited comedy university run by adults operating at roughly 30% is supposed to work, why the 30%ers are now the Student Body, what Professor Zaga and Professor Nick are actually qualified to teach, and whether putting ADHP University on your résumé is an objectively terrible decision. Spoiler: we'll still be your references. We also somehow get into: Nick's serial-killer voicemail finally getting called out by his actual boss. Why 2000s ringback tones desperately need to return. The first ADHP University lesson: how to look like you know what you're doing when you absolutely do not. Why confidently using fake acronyms may be one of adulthood's greatest social hacks. Nick admitting he's never actually been to college. Chaz the Chaos Gremlin becoming the official school mascot. An alarming amount of Burger King and Dragon Ball analysis. The sentence “women are hot and they scare me.” A potential Professor Nick lecture involving pasties and a championship belt. And planning Nick's upcoming New York, Comic-Con and Salem field trip, which has somehow become Friends, Guinness, White Castle, chopped cheese, bagels, hot dogs, Blackcraft and Annabelle. This is the last episode before the classroom officially takes over. Professor Zaga. Professor Nick. The Student Body. What could possibly go wrong? Running on 30%. Still showing up. We Tried to Solve Your Most Unhinged Scenarios | ADHP S2E11

Short story long... we had an episode recorded. Then we got an email telling us not to post it. So naturally, we handed the backup plan to the 30%ers. This week, Zaga and Nick are working through ridiculous fan-submitted scenarios and answering one important question: What would two adults running on 30% actually do? And apparently the answer is almost always: make the situation significantly worse. What happens if you're trapped inside a Walmart overnight while one exhausted employee is hunting you? What if your HOA accuses you of summoning raccoons? What if a stranger hands you their toddler and drives away? What if mystery packages containing medieval weapons, exotic spices and taxidermy supplies keep showing up at your house? What happens when two adults reach for the last package of Oreos? And what exactly are you supposed to do when a stranger walks up in a parking lot, hands you a burner phone and whispers: “You're safe now.” Before any of that, Zaga also derails the episode with one of the most disturbing mortuary documentaries he's ever watched, Nick absolutely does NOT explain what's happening between him and Juliana, and somehow the episode ends with an extremely questionable plan involving Copper, Salem and a fake proposal. This is not how responsible adults would handle these situations. This is how we would. Running on 30%. Still showing up. We Gave Awards to the Worst Parts of Adulthood | ADHP S2E10

Short story long... adulthood finally got the awards show it deserves. This week, Zaga and Nick host The 30% Awards, where being nominated is less of an honor and more confirmation that adulthood has personally wronged you. The 30%ers helped nominate the everyday problems, purchases, social rules, minor inconveniences, and outright betrayals competing for some of adulthood's least prestigious awards. We're deciding: What should have only taken five minutes? What normal purchase has gotten offensively expensive? What's the worst thing to remember immediately after sitting down? Which temporary solution somehow became permanent? What unwritten social rule did nobody actually agree to? Which minor inconvenience has absolutely no right to make us this angry? Who designed some of this garbage? And what is the ultimate adulthood final boss? Customer service battles subscriptions. Pokémon cards, fast food, PC parts, and the pink tax compete for “That Cost HOW Much?” Wet socks face slow walkers. College and employers enter The Great Betrayal. And by the end, work and social media are fighting for the honor of draining the last remaining percentage of our sanity. There are no celebrities. There is no red carpet. There are several unresolved responsibilities. Welcome to The 30% Awards. Running on 30%. Still showing up. I Tried to Help a Stranger and Regretted It | ADHP S2E9

Short story long... adulthood is just a never-ending collection of side quests nobody trained us for. This week, Zaga and Nick enter the 30% Side Quest Championship to figure out who is actually better at surviving the tiny adult problems that somehow consume an unreasonable amount of time, money, and emotional stability. We're dealing with customer service calls from hell, mystery subscription charges, being transferred between the same departments, household repairs that could become significantly more expensive if you touch the wrong thing, grocery-store rage, self-checkout betrayal, and the eternal adult question: Is this a problem for right now... or Tomorrow Me? Zaga also tries to do one nice thing for a stranger who only needs a ride “right down the road.” Fifteen minutes later, he's on the other side of town, the church is closed, there's suddenly a CVS involved, and apparently he accidentally became an unpaid transportation service. Then we put our adulthood survival skills to the test with: A duplicate charge and a 45-minute hold time. A 2 A.M. smoke-detector, Wi-Fi, and running-toilet disaster. A $25 grocery-store survival challenge. And a lightning round proving how aggressively we will postpone basic responsibilities. We may not have adulthood figured out. But we're still here. Short story long... we put the two single people in the same episode and let the married guy ask the questions.Juliana is back for the first time this season, she finally meets Nick, and Zaga immediately turns the whole thing into a dating compatibility test. What starts with one simple question, “Are you actually ready for a relationship?” turns into two hours of dating apps, terrible dates, relationship expectations, communication, red flags, green flags, marriage, kids, being single in your 30s, and trying to figure out whether anybody actually knows what they're doing anymore.Nick explains what keeps going wrong in modern dating, Juliana reveals the behavior that instantly kills a second date, Zaga remembers why he should probably never be allowed back on Tinder, and somehow Medieval Times becomes a legitimate first-date strategy. We also get into the difference between being lonely and being ready for a partner, learning to enjoy your own company, what being single teaches you, why “no” is a complete sentence, and which dating behaviors should have been retired several years ago.And by the end, the 30%ers have one final decision to make:Are Nick and Juliana compatible enough to get lunch together in Salem?Running on 30%. We Thought the GameCube Had Toxic Gas | ADHP S2E7

Nick believed a GameCube could release toxic gas if you broke it the wrong way.So naturally, he and his stepbrothers tested the rumor. This week, Nick and Copper fall into a nostalgia-fueled nerd fight club covering the games, anime, superheroes, childhood rumors, and fictional universes that raised them. They debate Xbox 360 vs. PlayStation 2, Marvel vs. DC, physical games vs. digital libraries, Pokémon vs. Digimon, Star Wars vs. The Lord of the Rings, open-world vs. linear games, and subbed vs. dubbed anime.Copper also faces the Copper Challenge: make one complete argument in 30 seconds without starting five more arguments, explaining an entire franchise, or forgetting the original question.Somewhere between the GameCube toxic-gas experiment, gaming creepypastas, Toonami memories, and the realization that the nerds grew up and became hot, the episode becomes exactly as controlled as you would expect.Running on 30%. I Quit My Job… and My Friends Immediately Lost Their Minds | ADHP S2E5

I quit my job… and my friends immediately lost their minds. In Episode 5 of ADHP: Adulthood Pending Season 2, Zaga talks about leaving the car industry after 10 years to build ADHP full-time. This is the start of the full-time ADHP era: the podcast, the live streams, the 30%ers, the merch, the guests, the creator program, and the community we’re trying to grow from the ground up. Nick and @copperhead347 are here for the conversation, which means this emotional life update immediately turns into support, yelling, roasting, and total ADHP chaos. Copper is back this week, and if you know @copperhead347 from TikTok, yes, this is the episode where he returns to ADHP. He may have 2.2 million followers, but on this show, he is still getting roasted for disappearing into the woods, having dial-up internet energy, and growing a mustache at the speed of government paperwork. This episode is about betting on yourself, leaving a stable job, taking a creative risk, protecting your health, and trying to build something bigger than a podcast. It is also about Comic-Con, Salem, Twilight, fake corporate titles, Blackstone griddles, Copper’s mustache, Nick being spicy, and the episode falling apart in real time. Welcome to the full-time ADHP era. Same chaos, better decisions. In this episode: - Zaga talks about quitting his job to build ADHP full-time - Nick and @copperhead347 react to the decision - Copper returns to the show - The boys talk about taking risks, leaving corporate America, and betting on yourself - ADHP starts shifting from podcast to community-driven creator brand - The 30%ers become even more important to the future of the show - Comic-Con, Salem, cosplay, and the full ADHP cast meetup get discussed - Copper’s mustache gets attacked from every direction - Zaga talks about health, back pain, working from home, and rebuilding his life - The ADHP Creator Program starts taking shape - Fake corporate titles are assigned because apparently this is a company now - The episode completely falls apart, which means it is functioning exactly as intended Comment below: What is the biggest risk you have ever taken on yourself? And if you’re one of the 30%ers, tell us what you want ADHP to become next. If you support the show, the biggest thing you can do right now is share this episode with one person who is running on 30% and still showing up. --- Follow ADHP 🎙️ Podcast: ADHP: Adulthood Pending 📺 YouTube: @ADHPSHOW 📲 Instagram: @ADHPSHOW 🎮 Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/adulthoodpending 💬 Discord: https://discord.com/invite/guMbYn3jjp 🛒 Merch: https://adulthoodpending-shop.fourthwall.com/ --- Want to be a guest on ADHP? Nobody Warned Us About THIS | ADHP S2E4

Nobody hands you the real adult starter pack. This week we're talking about everything people conveniently forgot to warn us about: grocery shopping every three days, birthdays getting weird, learning to stop caring what strangers think, why your inner monologue runs the company, travelling, hobbies, mental health, crock pots (again), and somehow The Beatles catching strays. Crock Pots, Red Flags & Bad Towels | ADHP S2E3

What actually belongs in the adulthood starter pack? Not the fake motivational nonsense. Not “wake up at 5 AM and journal beside a lemon water.” We mean the real stuff: a good towel, an air fryer, a crock pot, a mattress that doesn’t ruin your spine, boundaries, better money decisions, relationship red flags, friendship rules, and maybe a fire extinguisher because apparently adulthood includes preventing your house from becoming content. In Episode 3 of ADHP: Adulthood Pending Season 2, Zaga and Nick build the official Adulthood Starter Pack 2.0 with help from the 30%ers. This week’s mission: decide what actually deserves a spot in the cart. We talk about the home essentials every adult should own, why crock pots are either genius or emotional surrender, what is worth spending extra money on, which subscriptions we refuse to cancel, relationship green flags, red flags, friendship rules, and why treating service workers badly is one of the loudest red flags on Earth. The episode also gets into fire extinguishers, New Balance, good towels, mattresses, yoga mats, money choices, and the sacred adult battle of crock pot vs air fryer. Tiny little shopping trip through the ruins of adulthood. If you like the episode, don’t just watch it. Share it. Send it to someone running on 30%. Put it in the group chat. Make it everybody else’s problem in a loving way. In this episode: Zaga gets his voice back, sort of The 30%ers help build the episode The weekly battery check returns Air fryer vs crock pot chaos Why adults need one good towel Mattresses, fire extinguishers, New Balance, fanny packs, and adult home essentials What is actually worth spending extra money on Subscriptions we refuse to cancel Relationship green flags and red flags Why “no” is still a full sentence Treating service workers badly is a massive red flag Friendship rules every adult should know The list is not finished, because naturally adulthood needs a part two Comment below: What belongs in the official ADHP Adulthood Starter Pack? Protect Your Peace… or Are You Just Avoiding Life? | ADHP S2:E2

Protecting your peace sounds great until it turns into avoiding every uncomfortable conversation like adulthood is a haunted house and accountability is hiding behind the couch. In Episode 2 of ADHP: Adulthood Pending Season 2, Zaga’s voice is barely hanging on, so Nick steps in as “Doctor Nick” to help carry the episode while we talk about the difference between protecting your peace and just avoiding life. We get into boundaries, people-pleasing, saying no, group chats, cancelled plans, work messages after hours, overthinking, social media rage bait, and the emotional damage caused by the words “we need to talk.” This week’s mission: figure out what actually deserves your energy, what needs a boundary, and what needs to be muted before it drains your last 30%. Because sometimes protecting your peace is growth. Sometimes it is avoidance in a trench coat. And sometimes it is just muting the group chat because the dinging has become a hate crime against your nervous system. Same chaos, better decisions. We Lost Our Bet… So We Paid Up | ADHP S2:E1

Season 2 of ADHP: Adulthood Pending is here, and somehow we already lost our dignity before the episode even started. After losing a Season 1 bet, Zaga and Nick kick off the new era of ADHP by paying up, dressing the part, and launching the official Season 2 rebrand: Same chaos, better decisions. This episode sets the tone for what ADHP is becoming. The 30%ers are official, the battery check-in is here, the live streams are tied into the show, and Season 2 is bringing more guests, more games, more community chaos, more fundraisers, and more proof that adulthood is mostly just improvising while pretending your life has structure. We talk about the new ADHP mission, running on 30%, Twitch streams, Discord, merch, Copper getting dragged into future nonsense, Nick’s Comic-Con survival story, and why this season is about having more fun while adulthood keeps trying to body-slam us through a folding table. This episode was supposed to stay on track… it didn’t. In Episode 51 of Adulthood Pending, Zaga and Copper start with a simple idea and somehow spiral into one of the most unfiltered conversations of the season. From “being mean vs being honest” to why entertainment feels fake now, this episode turns into a full breakdown of how people are DONE being told what to like… and why authenticity is starting to win again. We also get into Hawaii, Ireland, cancel culture, independent creators, and somehow end up answering fan questions that completely derail everything. This one is chaotic, real, and very on-brand. Because at the end of the day… we’re not polished… we’re just honest. 🎙️ We get into: 🌴 Why Hawaii changed Zaga’s entire mindset (“that’s not aloha”) 🧠 The difference between honesty vs just being an asshole 🎬 Why Hollywood and gaming feel forced right now 💰 The shift from big corporations to independent creators 🎮 Why cheaper indie games are beating AAA titles 🚫 Cancel culture, comedy, and where the line actually is 🗣️ Real talk about empathy, truth, and people picking sides And then it completely falls apart with: 🔥 Fan Q&A chaos 😂 Sleep schedules, caffeine addiction, and ADHD spirals 🎲 D&D, relationships, red flags, and random debates 🍦 Pistachio ice cream takes that should probably be illegal 💬 JOIN THE COMMUNITY Season 2 is coming… and we’re letting YOU shape it. 50 episodes later… and we still have no idea what we’re doing 😂 In this milestone episode of Adulthood Pending, we take a step back and ask the real question… Did we actually get better at being adults… or just better at pretending? From missed trash days to DoorDash addictions, failed routines, and the reality of post-vacation burnout, this episode is a full breakdown of what we’ve learned (and what we definitely haven’t) over the past year. We get into: 🧠 Why adulthood never actually “clicks” ✈️ Why vacations don’t fix your life (they might make it worse) 💸 The constant battle between groceries vs DoorDash 🏠 Why chores and responsibilities NEVER end 🎄 Holidays being straight-up scheduled chaos 📱 How technology went from helping us… to controlling us And somehow… we also end up debating: ⚔️ Planes vs cruise ships (and irrational fears of pirates??) 🥊 Whether mutual combat should be legal everywhere 🧴 Skincare routines saving our lives in our 30s 🎬 Feeling old when people don’t know classic movies This episode is chaotic, honest, and painfully relatable.
