    BDB Interview No. 9 - Tosh Semlacher joins BDB!

    Send us Fan Mail It's been a while since our last interview episode, but trust me this has been worth the wait! Joining Gaz on this interview episode is Tosh Semlacher, the current Director of Corporate Partnerships & Digital Experience for the Spokane Indians! Tosh has had a less than traditional career path to date, starting life as a college outfielder who then tried to transition to pitching at the Driveline baseball facility, he eventually moved into a coaching role (which was agreed during a gym session!). After realising coaching wasn't necessarily for him, Tosh proceeded to move into the business side of baseball focusing mainly on the growth of Driveline and helping to shape the facility into what it is today! During his time at Driveline, Tosh got involved in the social media company Momentum and took on a completely different side to baseball, making viral videos and trying to make baseball fun! After finishing up at Momentum, Tosh returned back to the Pacific Northwest and begun his current role at the Spokane Indians, the High-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies! So what is it like to have taken such a unique journey to where he is now? What helped Tosh to remain involved in the game of baseball for so long? All of this and more on this interview episode!     Send us Fan Mail The All-Star game is almost upon us, a chance for baseball fans to take a step back from the grind of supporting their team and come together to celebrate the best players in MLB...or so we thought? The past couple of years has seen a rise in undeserved players making it in with a chance of getting to the ASG through the dreaded Fan Vote! Last year Ronald Acuna Jr started the game despite having only played a month due to injury and I'm afraid it's only got worse this year! Alejandro Kirk, Vladimir Guerrero Jr and Teoscar Hernandez are merely just some of the players that have reached Phase 2 of voting - despite all of these guys either having been injured or just plain bad this year!
