Do We Even NEED a PS6 Yet?

Do we actually need a PlayStation 6 yet? Sony just announced QSSR, new AI upscaling technology that brings PS5 Pro-style image improvements to the regular PS5. Six years into this generation, Sony is still finding ways to improve the PlayStation 5 — so why are we already talking about replacing it? Former PlayStation boss Shuhei Yoshida also believes Sony should keep the current generation going as long as possible, especially as hardware gets more expensive and gamers continue using the systems they already own. So what would a PS6 actually need to do to justify another expensive upgrade? For me, better graphics alone aren't enough. I want a REAL generational leap, full backward compatibility, better performance, games that genuinely couldn't exist on PS5 — and Sony absolutely cannot take away consumer choice in the process. Because if PlayStation 6 means paying more while owning less, I'd rather stick with my PS5. In this video: • PlayStation 6 and whether we actually need it yet • Sony's new QSSR AI upscaling for PS5 • PS5 vs PS5 Pro and the future of PlayStation hardware • What a PS6 generational leap needs to look like • PS6 backward compatibility • Physical games and the PS6 disc drive • Why the PS5 generation may have more life left • What Sony has to do to convince me to upgrade Would you buy a PS6 right now? What would Sony have to include before you'd upgrade from PS5? #PS6 #PlayStation6 #PS5

In this video:
• PlayStation 6 and whether we actually need it yet
• Sony's new QSSR AI upscaling for PS5
• PS5 vs PS5 Pro and the future of PlayStation hardware
• What a PS6 generational leap needs to look like
• PS6 backward compatibility
• Physical games and the PS6 disc drive
• Why the PS5 generation may have more life left
• What Sony has to do to convince me to upgrade

Would you buy a PS6 right now? What would Sony have to include before you'd upgrade from PS5?
