    EP 146 - Adam Walker

    Our next guest is a former GB team mate of Watty's: He began his career with Fife Flyers in the BNL before heading down to Guildford for a season. The next season the BNL folded and the new EPL was born, he moved to the Wildcats and a massive 63 points caught the of the EIHL where he would play over 300 games for the Manchester Phoenix and Glasgow Clan. Also whilst with the Phoenix he played a season in the EPL where he put up 49 goals and 102 points. He is currently player coach of the Paisley Pirates SNL team, it's Adam Walker. Support the show

    EP 143 - Mark Saunders

    On the back of the EIHA's recent announcement, their newly appointed Technical Director for Stage 1 of Elite Player Pathway, Mark Saunders joined Watty & Bandy on the pod. Alongside his duties with the National Programme, Mark also looks to nurture and develop the Juniors within the London Raiders setup as Coach of their NIHL1(S) team. He spoke about his playing days in the NIHL and his eye opening experience of playing alongside Mac. He also gave us an insight of his route into Coaching and how he progressed into one of the most important roles in the development for our country's next generation of talent. Support the show

    EP 142 - Jack Jablonski

    Joining Watty and Bandy on the pod this week is former multi-sport athlete Jack Jablonski. Jack was touted as a "high-end hockey player" who had "an incredible hockey future ahead of him" by his varsity hockey Coach when travesty struck. In his Sophmore season he was hit by two defenders fracturing two bones in his lower neck leaving him motionless on the ice and paralysed at only 16 years old. His story and his incredible journey is truly inspirational and one not to be missed. Support the show

    EP 141 - Neil Francis

    Our next guest made his start for the Cardiff Devils team in the 92/93 season where he was part of the BHL Championship winning team for two years straight as well as being a Superleague Champion, EIHL KO Cup Champion and two-time EIHL CUP Winner. He has been involved in the off-ice part of Cardiff since hanging up the skates, whether that be in the Assistant Coach role or the Director of Hockey Operations. In July he was named to the Cardiff Devils all-time team; it is an absolute pleasure to welcome to 4000 and Counting Mr Neil Francis. Support the show

    Our next guest was born in Czechoslovakia and was drafted in the seventh round in the 96 draft by the Edmonton Oilers. After spending six seasons between the AHL and the IHL he made his way to these shores; first as a Steeler, then as a Racer, but his most iconic years started when he became a Cardiff Devil. A British Super-League champion and a playoff champion, a Cardiff Devils legend captain for six years, and, a two time league all-star, It is our pleasure to welcome to the show Mr Ivan Matulik.     EP 135 - Dave Scatchard

    Our next guest is a Canadian forward who was drafted 42nd overall in the 1994 entry draft by the Vancouver Canucks. He went on to play 11 seasons in the NHL, featuring in 659 regular season games with the Canucks, Islanders, Bruins, Coyotes, Predators, and Blues. After suffering many brain injuries on the ice including one that almost killed him, he hung them up. He is now a top performance coach working with some top executives and athletes. Not content with just that, he is also an author, and his book ‘The Comeback - My Journey Through Heaven and Hell’ is out now; It's our pleasure to welcome to the show Mr Dave Scatchard.     EP129 - Paul Gardner

    Our next guest comes from a hockey family, his dad won two Stanley cups, he was a first-round pick, eleventh overall in the 1976 draft with the Kansas City Royals, he went on to play 457 games in the NHL, scoring over 200 goals and 400 points. His NHL career saw him lace them up for Colorado Rockies, Toronto Maple Leafs, Pittsburgh Penguins, Washington Capitals and Buffalo Sabres. He played his final couple of seasons in the AHL where he went back-to-back all star games and back to back scoring titles with 51 & 61 goals. He also won the league MVP award back-to-back too. Since hanging them up, he has gone on to have a long coaching career including time in Germany , Russia and five years as assistant coach with the Nashville Predators.
