What does real faith look like? In this foundational message, Dr. Michael Youssef points to Elijah, Abraham, Rahab, and other believers in Scripture to show that faith is more than emotion or positive thinking.
Biblical faith rests on the character of God and the authority of His inerrant Word. It trusts when circumstances are uncertain, obeys when the cost is high, and moves forward before the outcome is visible.
This episode calls believers to:
- Reject fear and self-reliance,
- Trust God’s promises without compromise,
- Obey even when the path is unclear,
- Sacrifice comfort for faithfulness,
- Live with confidence in the living Lord Jesus Christ.
The saints of Scripture were not superhuman. They were just like us. What set them apart was faith that trusted God enough to act.
Scripture Focus: Hebrews 11:1–3; James 5:17–18
