It was so fun to welcome photographer and guide Amanda Janes to the podcast for Episode 49!

As a guide and deckhand on Le Canard (Alaskan Coastal Excursions), Amanda welcomes guests to their ship-based adventures up and down the Alaska coastline. Her images provide a unique perspective into the daily lives of the Katmai bears, and her intricate knowledge of their communication cues help her capture stunning images of their interactions. 

Le Canard team provided such a familial, joyful experience when I stayed there last summer with Pangea Expeditions, and it was a joy to get to talk with Amanda again!
