Justin Hibbard continues the series on Vatican II by reading one of the four constitutions - Lumen Gentium (Light of the Nations) - The Dogmatic Constitution of the Catholic Church. This episode covers chapter 3 - On the Hierarchical Structure of the Church and in Particular on the Episcopate (sections 18-29). In this episode, you will learn order how Jesus, in order to preserve the unity of His Church, established a perpetual system of bishops to lead, shepherd, and govern the Church. The bishops are the successors of the apostles with the Pope the successor of Peter - the visible Head of the whole Church.
