It’s the final WGTA of 2025/26 before we break for summer. Tom & Sam are in to review their Gameweek 38s and their own seasons – what went well what didn’t? – before launching into an analysis of the 2025/26 season in classic WGTA style. Looking at the data, we evaluate points scoring in #FantasyPremierLeague this year and how underperforming premiums – who may be a fading force in FPL – and DefCon have combined to produce what may be a new era for #FantasyFootball, enabling us to make some predictions for next year. Sam & Tom continue the meta discussions on a week where many WC32ers (we'll get to WC35, don't worry!) are set for gameweek, this time focusing on how #fantasypremierleague premium assets have perhaps failed to perform this year and if it's a one off or a start of a wider trend.
