He has written more #1 songs than anyone... 83 of them to be precise... most of them country. Ashley Gorley's songs have been recorded by many of the biggest names in Nashville, including Morgan Wallen, Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Jelly Roll and Post Malone. But Ashley himself is not a performer, which is why you've probably never heard his name. On this episode, we talk to him about how he became a behind-the-scenes superstar. He talks about his unusual and inspiring path to songwriting, and tells stories about working with the musicians who send his songs up the charts.
