Episode 271 – The Beast of Brotonne Forest | William Marshal Hunts a Medieval Werewolf

Freshly knighted, William Marshal, Gervais, and the flamboyant Percy of Northumberland travel into the ancient Brotonne Forest after reports of a terrifying beast killing villagers in medieval Normandy.

What begins as a simple hunt soon becomes something far darker.

As the villagers clear centuries-old woodland in the name of progress, Fenrir senses something ancient awakening beneath the forest. A mysterious child carries an impossible acorn from a tree that should never bear fruit again, while strange tracks reveal that whatever stalks Brotonne Forest is no ordinary wolf.

Then Fenrir discovers something he believed impossible.

A member of his own ancient wolf family still survives.

This dark fantasy episode blends medieval history, supernatural horror, werewolf mythology, Norman France, folklore, and humour as William Marshal faces his first mission as a newly made knight.
