Sharon Hinton speaks to Dr. Rosita Chatonda, an educator, community organizer, author, advocate for public education, and founder of CAUSE (Coalition and Alliance of Urban School Educators) and Teach for the Future Inc. She shares the story of fighting the closure of predominately Black schools in Chicago under Mayor Daley. Sharon and Dr. Rosita discuss parallels between that time in Chicago and school closures in present-day Boston.
