I recorded this mix with an opening set in mind, focusing on that slow build from the very beginning. I like the process of creating tension gradually, moving from a quiet starting point towards something that begins to shape the mood of the dance floor. The mix was recorded using three decks and reverb, leaving space for the tracks to develop naturally and letting the energy build along the way.
