On September 20th, 2006, 39-year-old mother of three, Doris Worrell, was fatally shot at Jon’s Sports Park in Douglas, Georgia. For NEARLY 20 years, her murder remained UNSOLVED, with the only leads pointing to a robbery gone wrong. But finally the police have made an arrest, her husband, Jon Worrell. After fleeing to Costa Rica with his children( and mistress), Jon evaded justice, at least until April 2025, when (his mistress's) cooperation led to his arrest in Missouri.
