When did we normalize bailing?

When did “I don’t feel like it” become a good enough reason to stop showing up for the people we love? This week, Emma is going down the rabbit hole on one of her biggest pet peeves: bailing. The last-minute cancellations, the casual “sorry babe, can’t make it,” and the yes that apparently meant “I’ll decide how I feel that day.” Because somewhere between protecting our peace and honoring our boundaries, it appears we all forgot how to honor our word.
