Three Do Who S3E10-The First Doctor

Send us Fan Mail Episode Description In this episode of Three Do Who, hosts James, Mike, and Eric explore the original, mischievous anti-authoritarian First Doctor! The discussion covers his journey from a guarded "grumpy gus" in An Unearthly Child to a welcoming, pragmatic protector of his companions who firmly believed that "nothing was impossible" and there was "always a way" out of a problem. We also dive into his unique quirks, including his fondness for pomegranates, hot cocoa, brandy, contrasted with his deep dislike of recorders, pop music, and riding camels. Join us as we look back on this foundational era of Doctor Who and share how we have come to appreciate this iconic Doctor!
