Amanda Gianelloni, from Napoleonville, Louisiana, is a trailblazer in women’s baseball, having been the first woman to sign with the WPBL and the only woman drafted from Louisiana. A Nicholls State University Hall of Famer, she holds school records for RBIs, doubles, and walks, and is a three-time Women’s Baseball World Cup competitor and 2024 silver medalist with Team USA.
