Systems at odds

A new book argues that classical Islamic law conflicts fundamentally with the U.S. Constitution on apostasy, due process, and the rights of women and non-Muslims. Mary Reichard speaks with A.S. Ibrahim, professor of Islamic studies at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, who says Christians should love their Muslim neighbors while opposing political Islam. Upon his release, he and his wife, Sabina, founded The Voice of the Martyrs to help the families of imprisoned Christians in Communist nations and other countries where Christians are persecuted for their faith.
