The Warminster Thing: Strange Sounds, UFO Sightings and the Haunted Hills of Wiltshire

On Christmas morning 1964, residents of Warminster, Wiltshire, were disturbed by strange sounds moving over the rooftops. What followed became one of Britain’s most famous UFO mysteries, with lights over Cradle Hill, skywatchers, alleged landing marks, Arthur Shuttlewood’s investigations, and older folklore clinging to the hills around the town.
