A childhood trip to Mexico turns into a nightmare when a carnival accident is followed by something impossible at the kitchen door. Then, on the Isle of Wight in 1973, two children meet a strange clown-like figure near Sandown who calls himself Sam. Two unsettling accounts of clowns, strange beings, and encounters that do not fit neatly into the world we know.
