Episode 8: Female Lead

Hey all,

There’s been lots more Walking Dead news this week, so that means it’s time for another episode of the podcast. Jason and I sit down to discuss the following items:

• First we revisit the rumor from last week that Brandon Routh would be joining the cast. Turns out this isn’t true.
• Sarah Wayne Callies is cast as Lori Grimes
• Darabont regular Jeffrey DeMunn joins the cast in an unknown role.
• Fearnet.com posts an interview with Frank Darabont, in which he reveals his plans for following the comic’s story line.
• KNB Effects group is hired to provide special effects.

All this, plus we briefly speculate on what we’re going to include in the podcast once The Walking Dead is on the air.
