Sometimes the solution isn't failing.
We're just changing it before we've given it enough time to work.
We start a new habit, then abandon it when the results aren't immediate.
We try one approach, get uncomfortable, and replace it with another.
We keep searching for the perfect solution when consistency is the thing we're actually missing.
Stop Changing the Cure explores the tendency to constantly change our approach instead of giving a useful solution enough time to take effect.
There are situations where you absolutely should change course.
If something isn't working, learning from the evidence matters.
But constantly switching strategies can become its own form of avoidance.
You never stay with one process long enough to discover whether it actually works.
You start exercising, then change the routine.
You start budgeting, then abandon the system.
You begin learning something, then switch methods.
You make progress, encounter resistance, and decide the entire approach must be wrong.
Sometimes the uncomfortable middle is exactly where the work happens.
Improvement rarely feels dramatic while it's happening.
Often, it's repetition.
Small adjustments.
Boring consistency.
Doing the same useful thing long enough for the results to become visible.
Before changing the cure, ask yourself:
Has this actually failed, or have I simply become impatient?
Don't confuse a lack of immediate results with proof that nothing is happening.
Give good solutions time.
Stay long enough to learn.
Adjust when the evidence tells you to.
But don't abandon something simply because progress hasn't arrived on your preferred schedule.
Sometimes the cure needs improvement.
Sometimes it just needs consistency.
Stop Changing the Cure.
