Just because you have access to something doesn't mean it belongs in your life.
You can get the opportunity.
You can get the invitation.
You can get the attention.
You can get the position.
You can get someone's time.
And still realize that it isn't right for you.
Do Not Confuse Access With Alignment explores the difference between being able to have something and actually being suited for it.
Access can feel like validation.
Someone chose you.
A door opened.
An opportunity appeared.
So you assume you should walk through it.
But not every open door leads where you want to go.
A job can look impressive and still conflict with the life you're trying to build.
A relationship can have chemistry and still lack compatibility.
An opportunity can be exciting and still pull you away from your priorities.
Someone can want access to you without having the values necessary to build something healthy with you.
The question isn't simply:
"Can I have this?"
It's:
"Does this fit where I'm trying to go?"
Alignment asks different questions.
Does this support your values?
Does it fit your priorities?
Does it move you toward the person you're becoming?
Does it require you to abandon something important just to keep it?
You don't have to accept something simply because it is available.
You don't have to stay because someone finally gave you the attention you wanted.
And you don't have to chase every open door.
Access tells you what's possible.
Alignment tells you what's appropriate.
Learn the difference.
Because sometimes the most mature decision isn't getting what you finally gained access to.
It's recognizing that you were never meant to build your life around it.
Do Not Confuse Access With Alignment.
