Opacity, Transparency, and Layers

As artists, we know the value of creating imagery with depth and dimension. The process of creating that depth can be achieved by layering – whether it is physically overlapping images, layers of paint, stitching, or even themes. Today’s Artist in Residence, Lynn Koolish, has mastered the art of layering imagery in her work.
