Our Father

Join us this month for a conversation about God the Father. How does God reveal His identity as Father, in particular through Christ? What events of our lives and which scriptural images have most helped us discover this truth? What changes about our days when we live with the awareness of the Father’s providential care? // Our media recommendation is Alan Paton’s novel Cry the Beloved Country. Our monthly challenge is to listen to the Sanctus from Bach’s Mass in B Minor, allowing it to move your heart and mind toward the Father. // We’d love to hear from you! Write to us at pilgrimsoulpodcast@gmail.com or find us on Instagram at @pilgrimsoulpodcast. Our website is www.pilgrimsoulpodcast.com. // Other resources we mention: - Simone Weil’s essay "Reflections on the Right Use of School Studies with a View to the Love of God" - An excerpt from Charles Péguy’s The Portal of the Mystery of Hope // Our theme music is Nich Lampson’s “Dolphin Kicks.”
