show notes
Rod Paterson is the owner of Raslarr Engineering, a 4WD accessory fabrication business based in Victoria, Australia.
In Rob's own words, Raslarr started as 'a lone wolf in his driveway, armed with a welder and a can-do attitude'. No job too big, no nut too stubborn – Rob was the go-to guy for all things 4WD.
Since 2007, the business has evolved to become a widely-recognised and respected brand in the Australian 4x4 accessory industry - manufacturing Australian Made, high-quality bullbars, rear bars and sliders, and cutting cars into custom single and dual cabs.
Tony and Rob chat about how Rob first got started in the 4WD game, the challenges of running a manufacturing business in Australia and competing with cheap Chinese imports, the rise in popularity of American pickup trucks, and heaps more.
