Special Episode - 1985 Fun Oscars

We're back in the 80s, so it's time for another "Fun Oscars'" episode. We'll once again consider the following: What if this were a universe where what was fun was good? Instead of covering the best picture nominees plus other critically acclaimed films, we’ll be looking at films that are just fun from 1984. So please, join us, as we enter an alternate reality where fun is good. Notes: SPOILERS - we talk through the full plots of all the movies we cover. Timestamps are approximate: 8:05 - The Peanut Butter Solution 18:55 - Brazil 27:05 - Tuff Turf 34:40 - Pee-wee's Big Adventure 41:20 - Teen Wolf 45:15 - The Goonies 51:10 - The Breakfast Club 57:00 - Clue 1:07:30 - Rating the 12 Films We Watched 1:21:35 - Our Fun Oscar Nominees 1:25:00 - Daniel Day Lewis Drive 1:26:55 - Next Time -------------------------- Want to see what episode we're currently prepping and suggest non-nominees that we should watch?
