    In this episode I chat with well known guide Jason O Riordan. Jason established Game Fishing Ireland in 2013, based on a lifetime of experience in fishing and guiding on the rivers, lakes and coastline in the area. Jason regularly gives talks on fishing techniques at the leading angling shows in Ireland and is an IFFF Qualified Fly Casting Instructor in addition to being a member of the Mackenzie Pro Team for Ireland and an authorised Fulling Mill Guide. Jason is also just back from a salt water Seatrout fishing trip in Denmark and gives some wonderfull insights into the fishing over there. Always helpfull and a natural teacher Jason gives us some great advice and tips regarding salt water fly and lure fishing.

    In this episode of the Lure Fishing Podcast I talk with Captain Coral Rose Aiello who became first mate on her fathers charter boat ''the Coral Rose'' at 14. After more than a decade or more of hard work and dedication. In 2023 she assumed captain’s duties on the Coral Rose, with first mate and Dad Joe at her side! She holds her USCG 100 Ton Masters License and serves on the RI Marine Fisheries Council representing the recreational fishing category. Coral talks about the Striped bass fishing, Tautog and fluke fishing, and daily life a a charter boat skipper. Coral is an inspiration with her enthusiam, knowledge and her willingness to help and educate others. From Captain Joe, “Coral started out on this boat as a shy young girl and has blossomed into a strong confident woman. She’s an inspiration and demonstrates real girl power. Coral is a real asset in the charter service and I don’t like to leave the dock without her. She’s a true comrade.”

    In this episode of the lure fishing podacst I chat with West Palm Beach, FL native Emily Rose Hanzlik. 20 year old Emily has been fishing since she was big enough to hold a fishing rod and has already caught a staggerring 300 different species. Emily has been targeting IGFA World records with her father since she was 12 years old. She currently holds over 70 IGFA World records for species such as Peacock bass, Blacktip Shark, Grass carp and many many others. Emily also works with organizations that teach kids how to fish. Also currently studying to be a Marine Biologist, Emilys passion and knowledge for all things angling and helping others to get into the sport is obvious . In this podcast Emilys shares some of her vast knowledge in relation to landing big fish on light line and much more. A wonderful chat and a fantastic natural role model for all anglers.

Richie shares some of his vast knowledge on how to target species such as Bass, sea trout, pollack, mullet, mackerel, garfish etc all on the fly. An excellents episode with lots of valuable information from a guide who really knows his craft.

Andy has represented his country winning the Zandermaster title in 2016 and finishing 2nd in the team event at the World predator classic in Holland in 2017. He has also filmed with Sky Sports for Tight Lines and BT Sports for the on the bank program. Co author of Hooked on Lure fishing which is really a bible on all things lure fishing. Andy's knowledge of so many aspects of lure fishing is second to none and he is a fantastic friendly guy. In this podcast he gives so much advice and tells us about his many fishing adventures including a recent trip to Norway targeting flat fish from the shore on lures. There is something for everyone in this one, a real gem, enjoy.
