In this episode of The Life Outside Podcast, Cam chats with James Norbury. James is an adventure filmmaker, ultra runner, and huge fan of The Lord of the Rings. Based between Chamonix and Cape Town, James spends most of his time imagining up wild adventure projects and challenges, and then heading outdoors to bring them to life. He’s walked barefoot from the real-life Hobbiton to Mt Doom in New Zealand, was the first to run the 30 peaks challenge in the UK, and spent a month sailing the Atlantic without any experience on the water.
James shares stories from some of his craziest and most wholesome adventures, plus shares his thoughts on safety and risk outside, social media, and the importance of balance in outdoor pursuits.
