Scott and Michelle continue their chronological journey through Halloween Horror Nights history with a deep dive into Halloween Horror Nights 22, one of the most experimental and memorable events of the modern era.
Rather than centering the event around a single icon, HHN 22 introduced The Legions of Horror, turning nearly the entire park into one massive roaming scare zone filled with vampires, warriors, zombies, prisoners, beasts, and the sinister Iniquitus. It marked the first time since 2007 that Universal focused on one large park-wide scare zone instead of several individual scare zones.
The episode also revisits one of the strongest licensed lineups of the early 2010s, including The Walking Dead: Dead Inside, Welcome to Silent Hill—the first video game property ever featured at Halloween Horror Nights—Alice Cooper: Welcome to My Nightmare, and the wildly inventive Penn & Teller: New(kd) Vegas.
