In these chapters Ryder tells Taytum that he is finally done with Morgan so they decide to meet up. Ryder tells Taytum about the craziness he’s been living through and tells her that he let Morgan know that Taytum wasn’t going anywhere. Taytum is shocked to hear that but also flattered. When the day comes to an end one of his buddies picks him up and Taytum can’t help the past that comes up. Then the summer rolls around and her and Luke take a much needed vacation where he proposes and Taytum says yes! She’s hesitant to tell Ryder but she finally does and he gives her an unenthusiastic response that unsettles her a bit but she won’t let it ruin the day that she and Luke shared.
